The staff was helpful taking our bags over from the main part of Siracusa and giving us tips of what to do. We also really appreciated the welcome gift of Prosecco and the amenities in the property were top notch. The one negative is that there was a musty smell in parts of the unit, which I hope they can address."

The hotel is full of Sicilian character and charm, and its location in Ortigia was perfect for exploring on foot. Our room was comfortable and beautifully suited to the character of the hotel, and the staff were always happy to help with recommendations and anything we needed. After travelling throughout Sicily for two weeks, what stood out most was the genuine hospitality. We felt like valued guests, not just another reservation. Algilà was exactly what we hoped for from a Sicilian hotel — charming, personal and welcoming. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ortigia!"
