Nice and quite retreat. Due to my late arrival I did not utilise the pool which did look inviting and appered to be well maintained.

Where the guests are really taken care of

Very friendly staff and a nice familiar atmosphere make you feel „at friends“. Everything is very clean, rooms are sufficient big, wifi is strong also in the rooms, great pool and whirlpool, menu with an acceptable range of dishes and food is prepared in good quality. Resort has only 12 rooms but is guarded 24 hours and makes you feel safe. Mall and other stores are in walking distance, but jeepney line passes the resort and taxis are easy to get. But the strongest asset is the staff, who works together as a team and who are committed to the guests, not only to the job.

Could have been paradise...

We came back because it's such a nice oasis and the pool area is amazing... but the pool is cold at least this time of the year, and some fierce mosquitoes or god knows what are around, I got more than 20 bites there. Restaurant understandably has only a few dishes to choose from, ribs were very good, pork steak not my taste at all, should be at least adobo available. Breakfast was great.

Fabulous oasis in the city

What a great place. Feels like an island resort. So relaxing. Sparkling clean, bedding smells nice and fresh. Very friendly staff. Will be back soon!

Urban Sands is an oasis in the city. The staff gave an impeccable service specially their manager -Quincy. My husband & I will always go back to this place.

This is an amazing hotel - especially for the price. The setting is beautiful, the common spaces feel very familial, and the staff are extremely friendly. The only negative is that the internet speed was extremely slow. But if you love small, clean, personal hotels - this is the pick for you.

Nice secluded motel in the heart of Iloilo.

Loved that the room is poolside. The small friendly staff made it easy to become acquainted with them. Angeli, April, John and Quincy always met or needs quickly and with a smile.

AWESOME LITTLE HOTEL

AWESOME SMALL HOTEL...OASIS IN THE MIDDLE OF TOWN. COMFY ROOMS WITH GREAT CABLE. NICE POOL.OUTDOOR RESTAURANT IS THE BEST IVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN A SMALL OR LARGE HOTEL. FOOD WAS AS GOOD AS A 5 STAR HOTEL. ILL NEVER FORGET THE RIBS :)

A memorable stay

A memorable stay at a lovely hotel. The room was comfortable and clean with good facilities. Breakfast was included and a varied menu. It was plentiful and very well prepared and cooked. The hotel has a restaurant/bar and the menu catered for both Filipino and International clients. Again, the food was very good and plenty of it. The staff make this hotel special. the hotel only has 12 rooms which makes it very friendly and personal. I cannot rate the manager and the staff more highly. First class service, first class attitude, first class smiles and first class attentiveness. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they always had a greeting and smile for you. The 2 main staff that served at meal times were Angeli and April, but The manager Quincy and Den Den, John Rey, Nelson, Pamela, Richard, Aaron, Darin and the kitchen staff all need a special mention. The swimming pool and the surrounding area's were always clean. A lovely touch was also the free snacks in the afternoon at the bar area. If you are visiting Iloilo I highly recommend trying this lovely hotel. The only negative I can say is sometimes there is a little traffic noise from the highway but this is just a small observation. SM Mall, bars, clubs and eating places are just a short ride by jeepney or taxi.

Great Hotel with superb pool

Lovely Hotel in a quiet area but close to shopping and restaurants. Rooms were adequate with table and chairs on the terrace outside your room. Pool area was really nice. Good bar and food being served. The staff were very courteous and treated each request efficiently and effectively. I would thoroughly recommend this Hotel.

Great service. Very Professional. Central location

Really enjoyed our stay. Quincy at the front desk was the most professional receptionist I have ever met in the hotel industry in the Philippines. Her knowledge and attention to detail and service was impressive. We checked in to our room which was cozy. I have never seen a hotel room with black/gray sheets, usually they are white but it was still comfortable. Bed was soft and so were the pillows. The linen spray/disinfectant spray was too strong on our room and our allergies were acting up and swollen and they immediately transferred us to the other room which was great. They also gave us welcome drinks and were very accommodating. Walking distance to bus terminal to other parts of Iloilo (Miagao, Oton, Guimbal, Etc). Walking distance to Molo Plaza, Church and Mansion and even Smallville. All less than 2km or 1mile.

Small Hidden Gem

Small entrance to this hotel but miss it at your peril , make your to the reception desk were you receive the best welcome ever. One you go through the glass doors thats when your hols begin . Rooms are built round a swimming pool ,water is blue & night they put the lights on. Rooms are comfortable & Breakfast are really nice

Superb - good value of your money

nice small boutique smack in the middle of a bustling city atmosphere yet once you entered the gate, you are transformed into somewhere out in a beach or a resort. Comfy, clean, pleasant invironment. Staff is exceptionally friendly and effecient. Free breakfast for 1 guest and swimming for 2 guests. Good deal for your money. A well kept gem in the heart of Iloilo City.

Boutique hotel - True reso feel whilst in the city

Staff was solicitous and quick to anticipate your needs. Very accommodating. Short cab ride to city center and places like Plazuela and the Esplanade are an easy walk. Go to Esplanade around 6am to enjoy a cool morning brisk walk or jog.
