The hotel was in the middle of being remodeled. We received one of the newly remodeled rooms and it was nice.

Every time my wife and I go to Iowa we stay here they have the best beds there pillows are awesome too friendly staff

Liked the convenience of the location; close to our planned activities. Liked the price of the room. The room was clean and neat. Location was easy to access. The highway noise was occasionally a problem.

For what I needed the stay there was fine it was a lot of little things that were minor annoyance. Just like the TV in our room did not work. The showerhead was cracked on one side so it was shoot water all over the bathroom somebody had put their face through the backside of the bathroom door. But all in all did not spend a lot of time there other than to sleep as the reason I got the room was because of the late work hours.

I booked and paid on Expedia but hotel did not have my reservation in their system. Expedia and hotel need to work on that glitch. Manager was very helpful and got it taken care of though. Room was clean and quiet. For the price, it has everything anyone would need.

The property is under new ownership and will be renovated. It was clean - the bedding was new and clean. I was there 4 days. The staff were all responsive and kind. Great check-in. It was quiet, comfortable, and I felt safe. Price was great. I would definitely stay again.

Disappointing
The property seemed to be remodeling and was not a clean as I expected. We stayed for 2 nights and no maid service was provided during our stay. The breakfast was a huge disappointment and I think calling what little was available a breakfast is false advertising. I will not recommend this property and will never stay here again,

The property was in a convenient location to the highways and services. It was pretty dated, and some areas needed repairs, though I think they were in the process of updates. There was no elevator. The breakfast was pretty poor, nothing hot, just a few cereals, yogurt, oranges, etc. The beds and pillows were good, it was quiet.

The shower didn't work properly when first got there (very low water flow). By the last day we could not get the shower to work at all. The room also had an slight odor to it that once there for a bit, didn't seem to notice it.

Mostly Good
The morning manager did not greet people as they came to the breakfast room. She didn’t wave as we drove right by her on the way out the parking lot. She didn’t have a happy disposition. The young woman who worked earlier in the day & evening & gave us needed assistance in the room. She was pleasant. The room was fine & the environment quiet.

The property was dirty and the room smelled like smoke. Front door was filthy and the cigarettes and trash by the front door were full to overthrowing everytime we walked in or out. Will definitely not stay again, the hotel could do MUCH BETTER.
