"The staff is very attentive. The rooms were cleaned well, but they have carpet, which I consider to be inherently unsanitary. In addition to the attentive staff I considered the view to be one of the hotel's best assets. I had a room overlooking the back side of the hotel, which was woods with birds' nests--a rare sight from a hotel window. The breakfast had instant oatmeal--plain and various flavors--hard-boiled eggs, cold cereals, waffles, pastries and bread, fruits, juices, coffee and tea....

Below average rooms that don’t stay cold we woke up sweating, no complimentary breakfast, water park was closed(we only chose to stay here for the water park for our 2 year old), no lake/beach access and sketchy board walks, there is a tiny outdoor 4.5 foot pool that has no shade. "Loved our stay at Americinn. All the staff was great, rooms spacious and clean. Shower was good, and bed a little to firm for me, but not a big deal. Great location, close to everything. Pool was great, had family over to swim as that was the reason we were there, visiting. Parking was good too. Would definitely recommend to anyone. What a great place!"
