“Good value for money and pretty close to the city centre”

“This w.as a cash only property. They do not take credit cards. It was close to the ferry, dining (Douglas House), the golf course and a short drive to Brodick Castle (a must visit). The ladies we met were pleasant and helpful.”

“We had a delightful time. The only issue we did have was, the photo of what we thought we were getting was not what we got.”

“The accommodation is “Airb&b style”, so no service on site. However when I had a problem with access I got immediate attention on the phone. The room was reasonably clean, bedlinen and towels spotless. Shower, hot water etc. working fine, shower gel supplied, kettle available with plenty of tea and coffee. A wee bit shabby outside of the room but I gather they are still working on it. Cleaner/maid friendly. Value for money and I suspect but don’t know for sure that it will improve...

“Beautiful hotel and a beautiful location. There is no elevator, so please keep this in mind if you're not in condition to carry your bags up potentially 3 flights of stairs. The location is excellent and conveniently located. We loved the walkability. ”

“I really enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was amazing and Julie & Wilson are very welcoming. The breakfast routine is simple, pick a time, what you want to eat and prepare to be wowed. The bed was very comfy and little touches like hot chocolate in the room, very much appreciated. I used the hotel as a base for my exploration of the west coast.”

The only thing we were woken up early with a lot of noise of other rooms being cleaned and after being at a family wedding the night before we were hoping for a little more rest the following morning. But apart from that it was a good stay.”
