Pros: Location, staff service at bar is top and the layout of the hotel, really recommend the suite, very spacious. Cons: Early noise by staff like cleaning public areas, maintenance, recommend doing those after 9 or 10 am. Check out at 11AM is crazy, had to leave the room even though I had to depart the island until 1PM. Other than that, recommend the place.

El hotel es muy lindo y cómodo, esta ubicado en un lugar muy céntrico por lo que tendrás todo cerca; tiene terraza, alberca y bar.

Es bonito pero ten en cuenta que hay que subir muchas escaleras con maletas y nadie que ayude. Área ruidosa desde temprano, no están orientados al servicio al cliente y encima de todo estuvimos por largos periodos sin agua y sin un plan B para ayudarnos a solventar.

If you like sleep - stay somewhere else. There is a rooftop bar and the music is so loud it was like trying to go to sleep at a rave. Party people walked up and down to the roof and we could hear it all. Then in the morning the boutique next door played super loud music at 8 am. So we had very poor sleep every night. It was stressful. The place itself it’s pleasing but the noise level is a complete dealbreaker for us. And btw - we were staying in the back of building where it was more “quiet”.

Great place !
Pleasant staff, great location and the room was great. Comfortable beds and lovely and clean. Best experience in Holbox we’ve had by far. Highly recommended and we’re rebooking very very soon. See you in May !

Great value but could use some clean-up
The main selling point here is value. This hotel offered a nicer and bigger room, faster wifi and warmer shower than Amaite, which is 2 blocks down on the beach and costs 5X what this hotel costs. Location is on the central plaza, which can get a little noisy. There's no beach but its only a couple of minutes away and you can grab a lounger in one of a few dayclubs. The main issue I had with the hotel was the complete lack of amenities (they don't even have an iron) and the fact that I had to kill a couple of smaller cockroaches in my room. Other than that - great.

It’s ok considering other options. It’s on the main road, kind of noisy. Staff is super friendly, facilities could use an updating. Also, the room smells. It’s incredible how many hotels in this area have a musty smell, I did not leave my clothes on the closet for this reason.

I love the staff and location. I booked this hotel because of the rooftop bar ambience, but the bar was closed due to covid. The pool was also closed. I wish that the shower had some shampoo and conditioner and the beds had a blanket.

Decent hotel. Located not too far from restuarants. It would help if the hotel included the golf cart taxi pick up/drop off for guest. Taxi people increased the prices to whatever they wanted so it wasn't the same price.

Central hotel in Holbox
The hotel is really nice with good size rooms. It’s very centrally located. There is a rooftop bar that is really cozy however be aware that there is very loud music during the evenings. I was at the floor most far away from the rooftop and the music was still very loud in my room. Also there are no hot water but I think that is very normal for the island. Other than that I would recommend staying here.

This is our favorite place to stay in Holbox. Right downtown, 2 blocks from the beach. Get a room with a balcony facing town. I’m writing this from an all inclusive resort in puerto morales wishing I was back in Holbox at the arena. The breakfast place 2 doors down is great. Love love love Hotel arena!

Not for us anyway....
As this island is really small this hotel is in the middle of the centre and all the bars and nightlife so it became very noisy all nights so we had big problems sleeping every night. Its also a bar on the roof and to reach that you need to go through/inside the hotel where the rooms are so as people came and left the bar you heard it all. Not so nice If you need your sleep. Otherwise it was a ok hotel.

Nice little hotel, spacious suite, all you need for a hotel in Holbox, nice staff and good location in the center of the town. Only thing missing is a restaurant to have breakfast but there are plenty of restaurants nearby!

Me gustó que está céntrico. Acceso a restaurantes. No me agradó la actitud del empleado que no sé su nombre pero al llegué antes de las 3 pm y me indicó que podía dejar las maletas y mi eaposo le preguntó sino había problema y le contestó en un tono que no me pareció, que ya le había dicho que sí. Aparte le preguntamos algunas cosas como dónde queda tal calle y dijo que no sabía y dijo en un tono no muy agradable: ahí están los mapas
