The location was excellent, five mins from the pier and seven mins to the beach. Close to lots of local and delicious restaurants and grocery. The room was spacious and had nice hot water too! The room was very clean and nice, had a kettle and fridge, we loved it and would come back!

Great location - near the ferry and walking distance to the beach, center, restaurants, etc! Very clean and comfortable. Davide was very helpful with anything we needed and answered all our questions. Can’t wait to come back!

The hotel was good, employee where great the issues I have was I see few cockroaches and the neighborhood having a pool party they ended after 11 pm. But everything else was ok.

Very disappointed!

The hotel manager was very disappointing, also we never got things that were supposed to be provided (water, hair dryer, shuttle to the beach) The shower was terrible...no water pressure at all. It took 10 minutes just to get rinsed off. The shower by the pool was better. None of the taxis knew where the hotel was, we had to tell them And then we had to walk a block because of the road being ripped out! See pictures

El lugar esta cerca del ferri a pie, si usas google maps checa escribir bien el nombre porq hay otro lugar con nombre parecido y te puedes perder facil si llegas de noche,pero en general esta super bien este lugar cerca de todo para comer, moverte y comprar lo que quieras y se duerme bien para poder seguir turisteando

Muy recomendable hospedarse en Hotel Casa Chujuk. Desde que llegamos, la atención, amabilidad y el excelente servicio que nos brindó Emmanuel nos hizo sentir no sólo bienvenidos al hotel sino a la Isla Holbox apoyándonos con información de transporte local, indicaciones de cómo llegar, sugerencias de restaurantes, etc. El hotel super bien!! Definitivamente regresaremos a Casa Chujuk.

Calme familiale

Nous sommes rester 3 nuit a l'hôtel et nous avons beaucoup, c'est très calme et a proximités du centre de la plage et du ferry. Davide le monsieur de l'accueil est trzs gentil. Il y a un chat a l'hôtel, Oreo! mes filles se sont vachement attachée a lui il est adorable. Je recommende fortement cet hôtel.

We loved the Holbox area, but would not stay here again. Too far away from everything, roads always flooded, makes walking difficult.

Clean, comfortable and quiet near ferry

Located in a quiet street just a few blocks from the ferry and only five or six from the beachfront. Check-in was quick, efficient and friendly although be aware that you will be required to leave a credit card number to cover any damage done. Davide spoke good English and explained this policy clearly. Note that reception is not 24 hour so check if you arrive at off hours. Rooms are spotlessly clean, the bed is firm but very comfortable with excellent pillows. A/C was quiet as was the ceiling fan. Rainwater showerhead has a water heater if you need hot water. It takes a while to warm up but works well. Not that you generally want hot water! A small fridge and sink allows you to buy and keep cool a few things from the stores. Like, oh say, beer maybe? There is a very small pool suitable for cooling down but not swimming and an outdoor shower for rinsing off. There are four or five tables with chairs around the pool area. Perhaps best of all, it is quiet at night so you can enjoy the lively nightlife downtown without having to give up your beauty sleep so you can look your best for the beach in the mornings.

Bien pero con cobros extras excesivos, no lo recom

En general bien la estancia, no está tan cerca de la playa, hay que caminar bastante, la limpieza fue muy pobre, movían las camas y un día no podíamos entrar, movimos la cama y se cayó la lámpara que me cobraron en $700 que para nada podía tener ese costo, no volvería ni recomendaría el lugar.

Es un total fraude, se anuncian a pie de playa, inclusive las fotos de la aplicación son de la playa cuando no es así. Al momento de hacer check in y hacer el comentario te dicen que el club de playa se encuentra en el hotel de las fotos y te dicen que por hospedarse ahí tiene un costo que sale 3 veces más alto que la reservación inicial. No lo recomiendo, no deberían engañar al cliente, PESIMO!

The property is couple of minutes from ferry and short walking distance from the center and the beach. Very clean, nice staff, easy to get to everything you need, but on a quite street. The great advantage is that you can use the beach chairs and umbrellas from their sister hotel which is more an upscale hotel and restaurant. The sister hotel is rght at the Whaleshark Pier where people get together to see the sunset. Very nice beach area, use of restrooms and showers, very attentive staff, nice music. We highly recommend both hotels and we definitely come back.
