The aqua lodges are very close to one another. The pictures don’t show the wear and tear on the inside. The water pressure is that of a garden hose. The smell of sewage or decaying vegetation was present almost every evening. The toilets are the kind with pedals so be aware of that. The water is brackish not clear. You can fish off your porch. It’s like camping but a little bit better. Location was good. It’s not glamorous or beautiful. If you like to fish it’s good for that. They have a pool. Small kitchenette. The bed is on a platform frame. I noticed soft spots in the floor. The lodge moves with the wind and it’s floating so it moves a little when you move. It uses window ac units. The loft doesn’t look usable . It’s quiet. If you keep your expectations low you can’t be disappointed. But if you’re expecting blue water and a newer cottage look that’s not the case. It was ok but slightly underwhelming. They have a picnic/ grilling area as well. Small parking area. We went in November so the bugs weren’t that bad. Staff wasn’t around too much. Hope this helps!

I am obsessed with tiny houses and this one floats! It was so relaxing to sit on the deck and enjoy the view. The bed was very comfy and the gentle motion of the water put me right to sleep. The staff are friendly and helpful. Islamorada is beautiful and fun to explore.

Badezimmermöbel rostig, Wasser im Badezimmer lief nicht ab, Klo war mit Kabelbinder zusammen gehalten. Im Allgemeinen eher dreckig und abgelebt. Um die Unterkunft herum sehr unaufgeräumt und nicht wirklich einladend. Von der Veranda ein schöner Ausblick und sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Key West.

We just returned from a fantastic stay at the Treasure Harbor Boat House rental, and it was such a unique and incredibly relaxing experience. The highlight for us was the private porch. We spent so much time sitting out there, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and watching nature—we even got to see manatees swimming by, which was amazing! The boat house is quiet and cozy, and it truly offered the romantic, unique getaway we were hoping for. We loved having the kitchen to cook meals in, making it feel just like home. The only minor challenge we faced was with the air conditioning. It wasn't the coldest, and it was a bit hard to keep a comfortable temperature during the September heat. Despite the small A/C issue, we absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a distinctive and peaceful retreat!

The room was clean but I did not get one of the updated aquaboats that was pictured in the listing so that was very misleading. The staff was all very friendly and accommodating. Expectations were in check for the price and it was like fancy camping which I liked. However the aqualodge we were given had broken locks and then the handle fell off completely. The biggest issue though was the valve was broken on the boat toilet so the smell became unbearable by the third day and thank goodness we were leaving after that. So we had to use the restrooms on site for certain bathroom duties. The air conditioning worked well and there was free coffee in the morning which was actually really good coffee. Location was great. Brand new pool was beautiful.

If you are looking for a laid back vibe with no hassle here is the place. Friendly staff. Aqualodge was cute and comfortable. Easily rented a boat for the day...found great snorkeling and beautiful views.

We loved this place! Quiet, beautiful views. You can rent a boat, pool was nice, kayaks available. Everything was so clean! My husband and I are not resort people, we like being in quieter places and this fit our likes perfectly! Will be back here again

Wonderful stay.

Wonderful experience, great place to stay staff was friendly and helpful. Fishing right off the back patio was awesome, caught a couple tarpon.

Pictures are deceiving. Much smaller than expected. Bathrooms need major upgrade . The couches were stained and kitchen old and cabinets were peeling. The bed upstairs was unmade and the linen on the bed that was made didn’t look clean

Floating roach boat

I was looking forward to staying on a house boat for 4 nights. We were assigned Blackbeard hideout. However as soon as we arrived I knew it was not going to be good. The floors were not swept thus not even mopped. The stove had pasta sauce on it as well as the back splash. Opened a kitchen drawer and a roach ran. Not much silverware to use. Washed what we used before using. Water pressure was very low, hard to take a shower and get all the soap off and shampoo out of your hair. I had to fix the toilet seat before using it since it was so loose it swivelled. This could all be overlooked. But when we started to deal with German roaches in the kitchen and bathroom. That is why this review is not good. We bought bug spray which did not help much. My husband killed one crawling on his arm while in bed. We were the 3rd boat from the end in front of the pool that we could not use because it was just built. There was a mess around the outside of the pool we had to walk through to get to our car. The boat to the left was getting renovated, which we were not told about. It was noisy at times. The boat was also longer than ours so we could not see past it to enjoy the inlet view while sitting on the lanai. The boats are very close so sitting on the lanai was not peaceful while other people were on theirs talking or cursing. Upon check out, we told the owner/manager of the roaches. She said Orkan came 2x a month. I told We were not compensated at all. We will never stay here again.
