"We had an excellent stay at the Harbourview Motel and Port Hawkesbury was a great location to stay before heading out to drive the Cabot Trail.
We had booked one of the motel rooms online, but upon arrival the owner kindly informed us that there had been a cancellation and upgraded us to Room #1 in the Inn free of charge. If you are staying in the Inn you are able to pull your car up directly to the front door which makes unloading/loading very convenient. The check-out process was also extremely convenient as we simply had to leave our key in your room and leave. We did not visit the onsite cafe during our stay, so I cannot speak to that experience. Finally, just note the nearby streets are extremely steep, so take caution when driving to/from the Motel, especially if you are visiting during poor weather conditions."
