“Small room but excellent location and helpful staff”

“The hotel was charming and clean and staff was friendly. While we liked its charm, it could use a little updating - in rooms especially. The rooms are very small, bathrooms also very small with limited counter space. Our beds were not very comfortable - may be time for new mattresses. The food was decent but, unfortunately, they seemed to be short on staff (only 2 people working the dinner shift and they had to cover the bar, dining room and front desk) so people had to wait quite a while for...

“Really nice owners! The breakfast in the room for the next morning was plentiful and a nice touch.”

“This was our favorite stay of the trip. The hotel decoration is so cool. Room was comfortable. Staff was so nice. The included breakfast was so good. We also ate at the restaurant for dinner and it was also great. All of the staff who helped us were super kind and very attentive. I would love to come back and stay here.”

“Ottima la posizione dell’hotel, ma le camere risultano datate, non c’è il frigorifero in camera e il bagno non ha la finestra. Colazione scarsa per la categoria, il personale non ci ha chiesto se volevamo delle bevande calde che non erano disponibili da dispenser. Vista la posizione siamo stati costretti a cenare in hotel per mancanza di alternative vicine, conto alto e porzioni ridotte.”

“We picked this place because it had excellent ratings. My experience was: Very difficult to unload car on an incredibly tight road. I had a heated row with a local resident who was very aggressive. The parking which was at a public viewing point was up a steep hill about 400 meters away. The bathroom was not cleaned well with unpleasant marks in the toilet, dusty bin lids etc. cobwebs and dirt on window. House was run down and very outdated. Walk into town was about 12 minutes down steep...
