“This could be an amazing place to stay. The grounds are impeccably maintained and beautiful. Unfortunately, our room smelled musty and of tobacco smoke. We couldn't believe what we were walking into! We arrived late, otherwise we would have left immediately. My wife awoke in the middle of the night nauseated from the smell. The deck restaurant was understaffed and the food unimpressive. Deferred maintenance issues were apparent with the buildings.”

“Excellent little B&B! So clean, comfortable, and set up very well. Good location to explore Oban and environs. My only issue was there are no “public areas” to relax in and the cover picture set a scene looking over the water but there is a very busy road along the front of the property below the photo making the garden not very relaxing”

“We so enjoyed our stay at Blarcreen House. David and Deirdre were very welcoming and very helpful. They directed us to a great parking place in Oban for when we went on a three island tour. They encouraged us to explore the area right around the house. We even made friends with the cats and the cows. And their breakfast service was so very elegant and tasty.”
