I had a balcony room with a lovely view. The room itself was nice and tidy. The roof top terrace and restaurant were great with a stunning view of the Blue Mosque. Breakfast had a nice variety of food. The location of the hotel itself was great. Very central to the tourist sites and also very close to the tram line. Staff were helpful and mostly smiling. A very pleasant stay at this hotel.

This place was great. We had 24 hours in Istanbul so the location was perfect for us to see Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. Could also walk to Galata easily enough. The staff was helpful and very nice. The breakfast was awesome!! The room was clean and very cool. It was a good deal for us and hit the spot.

Kitchen staff was incredibly sweet!!! Especially this young lady, I think her name was Rewaa? They made our stay sooo nice. Front desk staff not as nice, they acted like everything they were doing was a favor. They were more interested in getting tips than anything else. They need better customer service skills at the front desk. The location was excellent and the rooms was absolutely gourgeous!!! I felt like i stepped back in time to a curated roaring twenties mansion.

The two best things about this hotel were the location and the view. The location was convenient for exploring Istanbul’s historic attractions, and the view from the hotel was beautiful. Unfortunately, the positives ended there for us. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, and you could feel the springs through the mattresses. There was a light in the room that wouldn’t turn off. The room felt old and dirty, and the air conditioning blew hot air instead of cooling the room. The breakfast was also disappointing and not what we expected from a four-star hotel. We also had frustrating experiences with additional charges and transportation. We ordered two cans of soda to take away from the rooftop and were charged 500 Turkish lira for them, which felt excessive. That’s $10 USD for 2 soda cans. For our airport taxi, the front desk quoted us €40. However, the driver took a wrong turn, and we were then charged an additional 500 Turkish lira as a commission, bringing the total to approximately $56 USD for a 35-minute ride. This left us feeling uncomfortable and frustrated, especially because we had relied on the hotel to arrange the transportation. Although the location and view were lovely, the uncomfortable beds, poor room conditions, and these experiences with unexpected charges made our stay disappointing. We struggled to get a good night’s sleep, and the overall experience fell well below our expectations for a four-star hotel. We would not choose to stay here again.
