Crooked River Lodge

"This is a beautiful property close to the Crooked River in MIchigan. It's unique architecture and interior design make it very appealing; much different from the standard chain hotel. We enjoyed the balcony, the hot tub and the lovely room. The breakfast was adequate. I would have enjoyed some protein since it was mostly carbohydrates."

"I gave this 5 stars because the water and dock themselves makes this place worth it but my toilet bowl was not connected to the ground so it was extremely unstable and the outside of it was covered in pee. The rooms and beds were clean but the sheets were too small and kept pulling off the corners. The sink was clogged and took 35 minutes to drain everytime. In the mornings all we heard were slamming doors and kids running and screaming so the soundproofing is not good. BUT for $90-$100 a night it’s still very good. Like I said the view and fishing was awesome. But it definitely needs some more TLC."
