Beautiful property but when its chilly or raining there is NOTHING for kids to do. The pool is very cold. Seniors or couples with no kids would be fine but unless the weather is perfectly sunny and warm, can be tricky with children. The spa and gym are nice and the food is great. Service is lovely and entire property is clean and well maintained.

Stayed here over Labor Day bc of a Mayo Clinic procedure. The place was perfect. Room was incredible. Staff friendly. Not overwhelming in size. Pool was right out my door with a few more feet to get to the beach. We will be back next year.

The resort was nice but not enough dining options. They dont accept credit cards in any of the restaurants or shops. It was cold when we eent we tried to go into the outdoor jacuzzi but the water temperature in it was just luke warm and noone was around to adjust it, additionally there was very little entertainment..and any music was over by 7:00...too early.

We loved our stay

Our room was exactly as described and pictured, with a bedroom, living room/TV area and kitchenette. It was extremely well-laid out, comfortable and provisioned. The king bed was extremely comfortable and the maid service was excellent. We ate dinner at the beautiful elevated dining room "in the round" on the evening of our arrival. The food was excellent and the service was very personable but efficient. We ate breakfast at that restaurant each morning of our 3 day stay and again found both the food and service to be excellent. The view of the Atlantic from that restaurant was absolutely amazing, as was our morning walk along the beach. All in all, this was nearly the overall best facility we have ever stayed at, second only to the Plaza in NYC, where we were lucky enough to stay in an executive suite (thanks to an IBM awards stay).

We enjoyed the Lodge and club. Our room was amazing--view of the ocean, fireplace, large tub, and roomy shower. Most of the staff were above and beyond (some not so much, but not terribly so. Just not as nice as others in comparison). Easy access to the beach. We enjoyed the adult pool and loungers for a few days. The main disappointment is that the pool is not very big, and the loungers get filled up. The other frustrating aspect is that you have to pay to have a chair on the beach. This feels like it should already be included with your stay. Paying for two chairs and an umbrella is frustrating when it should just be included. We ate at the Seaview grill at the lodge, but didn't have near as friendly of service as we did at the Inn Restaurant! (This is the main restaurant of the sister resort). For lunch we enjoyed the outdoor restaurant that overlooked the ocean. The family pool is across the street--lots more loungers there, but not near the ocean. Also, you can either play in the family area or only do laps. Not really other options if you aren't a kid or are not swimming laps. Overall, we would like to return and enjoyed our time a lot!
