Great value for money
Great price. Room was nice considering the per night cost. It was clean and spacious. Street Food Tour was fantastic. Hostel location may not be to everyone's liking.

A truly enriching experience
Had a lovely stay in the Packer Lodge for one night in a single room - very spacious, clean and comfy. The service was great - the staff helped me book Grabs, let me keep my big bag over the day and had good tips on how to get around Jakarta. It's a great place to get to know local people and I instantly was adopted into the family, taken round the city and invited to hang out. Thanks so much for the happy atmosphere :-)

Absolutely amazing place. Very professional and helpful staff. Very quiet atmosphere. Accessible through public transportation, bus station is 2 minutes walk. A lot of eating places close by. Strongly recommend staying here.

The short answer: just stay at Packer Lodge
The Packer Lodge provides basic but clean accommodation and excellent staff at basically the lowest prices you'll find in Jakarta. I stayed in the private single room. I was able to check in at like 2 AM with no hassle. Make sure to bring 200,000 IDR in CASH for the deposit. The room was basic, but clean. AC had no trouble keeping the room cold. There was tons of storage including a lockable closet. Sink does not get hot water, and the shower has a small water heater that runs out of water very quickly. I basically had to shower at a trickle unless I wanted to go to the public bathroom intended for the people in dorms (so why did I pay extra for a private room then?!) WiFi in the property sucks. I had basically no signal in either of two rooms I stayed in while I was there. Telkomsel, the largest cell network in the country, also barely reached the rooms. You'll have to go elsewhere or to the lounge on the third floor to do anything useful on phone/computer. If you can get a cheaper booking by choosing not to get the "free breakfast' I would just save the money, even though the breakfast is cheap. Pretty meh and there are tons of warung nearby with delicious and cheap street food. Laundry service is good. About half a load for $4, with 24-hour turnaround. Very cheap for non-DIY hotel laundry. The biggest reason you should stay though is the staff. Super friendly and helpful, and speak good English. Thanks to Felice, Gab, Yani, Keisha, and Dina!

Love the hotel but hate the WIFI do something abt
I like the location easy to go anywhere. Options are many. Food around the area i did not discover much. Hotel & room facilities are very good EXCEPT wifi in the rooms & even outside in the common areas. Its almost perfect if not for the wifi which is very frustrating. I cant get signal for my roaming sim when in the room so have to depend on wifi.But it is very bad.

The staff is amazing there, felt like a family!!! If I ever go again I stay there! Also really clean, have international chargers, breakfast tasty and free coffee/tea and snacks anytime! Really recommend this place, close to old town and ChinaTown Market, close to bus stations, if wanna car staff will help to order :)

スタッフさんがみんな明るくフレンドリーでHappyでした！ Welcomeムードもあるし、帰ってきたら声かけてくれるし 話しかけたくなる雰囲気でした！ 朝食がパン＆ライス、どちらもあったのに感動しました。 目の前の路地の雰囲気が、見た瞬間一瞬不安になる感じのところでした。 ３Fに泊まったのですが、All階段だったので大変でした。 シャワーの水圧◎。水回りも掃除されていて〇。 バス停が近いし、隣の隣ぐらいの距離に安いローカルフードやさんがあるのでフライトでくたくたになって到着してもすぐ食べものが調達できて◎！

バックパッカーの人に連絡。 空港から行く場合、まずダムリ社のバスに乗ってください。40000ルピアです（約310円）。タクシーだと2000円〜くらいかかります。空港からダムリバスで「マンガドゥア」行きに乗ってください。そして「コタ駅」で一度止まるので降りてください。バスに乗ってからチケットを買いますが、その時に「コタ」と伝えておいてください。コタ駅に入り、そのまま通り抜けて反対側へ出ます。出たら右へ。「トランスジャヤカルタ」のバス停入り口があります、「トランスジャカルタ」バスで40000ルピアで、バスカードを買い、ブロックM方向へ行きます。1つ目で降ります。「Glodak」です。そこから歩いて5分以内に着きます。地球の歩き方などでよく地図を確認してください。 　宿ですが、とても綺麗です。共有スペースは一番上で、朝食もそこです。女性が多いですので女性にはおすすめ。男性でがっつり交流したい人はコタ駅近くの「テドゥーホステル」のほうが男性多く、交流できます。

スタッフが優しく何でも教えてくれます。朝食はインドネシア特有の物も食べられて、フルーツも美味しかったです。 あとはアクセスが良ければ文句なしです。

2nd time here
This is my 2nd stay at TPL. The 1st was a few years back. Obviously after a few years of wear & tear, there're bound to be some aging signs here & there. Overall the high standards was kept, the place still well maintained. They have some of the best pods in the industry, free breakfast, free towel, free drinking water. WIR? Definitely.

朝食無料がとてもよかったのと、空港への送迎が助かりました。コーヒー紅茶が飲み放題で、小菓子も食べ放題でした。 おまけに施設は綺麗し清掃されていました。バス停も近いですしオススメのお宿です。

近くにコンビニ
一年ぶり4度目の利用でした。今回は3泊しました。チェックイン時に20万ルピアをフロントに預けます。いつもと同じようにドミトリーを利用。カプセルホテル形式で鍵付きの収納スペースも三箇所あって便利。共用スペースに無料のコーヒー、紅茶、インドネシアのスパイシーなお菓子のサービスがありました。今回の滞在も満足いくものでした。

Generally good
I stayad at a single room for 7 nights at the ground floor. Pros: cozy, tiny but eqipped with everything i need, great location, helpful receptionist. Cons: a bit noisy, hot shower only last for a few minutes though it's fine to have cold show for the local weather.

Clean, friendly.
Staff at the hostel really tried to help. Some of them had good english. They booked our train tickets and solan me a SIM card (burnt they did charge me like 6 time the price).

Great staff
As clean as expected for the price. The staff were very friendly and more than happy to help with anything and everything. They k we the local area well and helped me to plan and arrange my stay.

sehr schönes hostel, modern, super freundliche mitarbeiter. die umgebung ist nicht so berauschend - aber das ist jakarta sowieso nicht...

Nice place and very recommended.
Everything was perfect. Free coffee and tea. The cheapest private single room in Jakarta. You can store the baggage after check-out. Transportation is accessable from the location. The only problem is the phone signal is very weak in the private room of ground floor.
