"If you are planning to in stay in Varanasi and is on a budget. I highly recommend this hotel.
Clean room and bathroom and the staff is very attentive.
The owner Akash gives you details information on whats available to visit and how to get there.
Even tips on purchasing fruits and the price you should pay.
Highly recommend thia hotel. "
"Had a wonderful stay - was a little concerned, we had to shift to a cycle rickshaw, and hotel staff carried our bags through narrow alleys for about a km - but when we got inside, it was quaint & pretty, great view of Ganga from our balcony - Chausatti ghat is steps from the hotel, climb down to the river. Dasashwamedh ghat, where they do the Ganga Aarathi is literally 10 minutes by walk - we were there 3 nights, and saw Aarathi up close every night. Hotel staff was extremely helpful, wonderful manager, Neeraj was great - they arranged Pooja and Darshan at the main temple, we zipped trough queues, next day they arranged a trip to various other temples and Saranath- they also helped into a tuk-tuk at 4:30 AM to catch a 6:00 AM train "
Southern Grand Kashi - Inside Kashi Vishwanath Temple Corridor
8/10 Good
"This is the closest spot one can find near the temple. However the rooms are very average and not very comfortable. The room size is very small. The staff is not very responsive. This hotel is great for location but for everything else it is very average.
There is shopping option and food option in the temple complex, but it is still some amount of walking. The hotel does not provide any type of room service, not even chai.
It is good for main temple darshan, but if you truly want to explore varanasi food, shopping and rest of the temples, you still have to walk in narrow lanes outside the temple complex.
Overall I recommend this place for its proximity to the main temple.

"Property was excellent, and the owner Mr. Yadav and his sons are real gentlemen. Approah road is a little disappointment, however it's walkable and thanks to Mr. Yadav it would not be a deal breaker. He was a great help during the day we faced extreme water logging problems. "
"The location of the hotel on the ghats is excellent - though be aware that the atmosphere can be smoky at times as the cremation grounds are not far away. I got absolutely what I paid for. Staff were helpful at all times and food in the restaurant is both good and reasonably priced. Why four rather than five stars? No hot water for half of my stay - and decor is a tad tired and almost gloomy. This was evidently the fashion at some point - as my (considerably worse) Delhi hotel was similar. I was a solo older female traveller and never felt unsafe or unduly pressurised. "
