"Note that thereโ€™s 2 buildings. The reception, restaurant, pool with view annd indoor โ€œonsenโ€ is in the new annexe. We stayed in the main building and had to walk a bit to those facilities. Found some of the staff at reception and the restaurant a little too rigid and inflexible. When I was asking for a late checkout, I asked for โ€œas late as possibleโ€. And he kept asking โ€œwhat timeโ€. To which I said โ€œ2? 3?โ€ Thereafter he said โ€œmaximum is 12โ€. Whatโ€™s the point of asking, then? Additionally, we ordered drinks in the restaurant and we wanted to have a hallabong that we bought earlier in the day. We were not allowed to eat it as it was โ€œfrom outsideโ€. I understand the policy but I feel it was unnecessarily harsh the way we were told. In addition, itโ€™s not like they sell hallabongs for consumption there. Everything else about the hotel was good. The views, the onsen, the room etc. Jeju is such a dreamy place and this hotel is memorable."
