The location was fantastic and within the hanok village. Dining options were plenty and as most tourists leave the hanok villaga after 6pm, the roads become quieter. Would recommend this accommodation for friends and families who wants to try living in a traditional building.
Very helpful staff, have Whatsapp to communicate.
Be prepared for a rustic hanok, but it's a good experience. AC and bathroom were modern and helpful.
It is right in the heart of the tourist village and sightseeing area.

I would say that this hotel is not for everyone. If you want a long lasting memory of a very unique traditional Korean experience, by all means stay here. But if you definitely need a great night sleep, at least in my experience, this might not be it, because we as occidental are used to a bed. The Hanok pictures are accurate.
Nevertheless, the staff were super helpful and responsive.
It was hard to find how to check in
Also safety systems was nothing
It was kind of scared to stay myself
And i checked in on January, in the morning it was cold
Probably owner shuts down the hitting system in the morning
Realized that during the hottest summer in July, avoided sleep in the attic because once you stood up near the under the roof, felt hot on the head without circulating AC upward. So we made nice warm conversation by offering special situation that we felt glad to have problem solved. Different living in Hanok village than hotels without bed. Especially for my age, hardly to stand up from sleeping on the floor with pads. We are living in back old day in Hanok Village to experience.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Glad we stayed in a traditional hanok but wouldn’t stay here again. The air con and shower head had visible mould and a family walked right into our room after being told it was theirs (note for any hanok a, lock yourself in!)

Place was bit squeeze for 3 pax and it's a odd place for the stairs which is like next a small space between it and the door. Had to squeeze thru to get upstairs. But owner is extremely prompt and helpful with our many queries.
During my stay in Korea I have booked multiple hotels, and this by far was the worst one. From the ratings and pictures, it looked quite nice but upon arriving it was already a disappointment. When I arrived, I spoke with the staff over the phone and they knew they were on speaker because they were watching me over their cameras and they announced my lock code so everyone could hear... I let this go and entered the room, once I checked in, I went out for a while to tour the city and eat.. Came back to the room and spread out the floor matt with the pillows and pillow cases, (these were unwashed for I dont ,know how long because you can smell the other peoples sweat and odor...... I took a shower and used their towel, which too was unwashed, because it smelled like dirty rags.... I wanted to really like this place and stay here for the experience but I just could not, the stench/odor from the floor matt, pillow and blankets was too strong and bad... there is NO way you can sleep in this unsanitary place.. I cannot even use their towels because its not even clean.. I'm not sure How long they have NOT washed their bedding or their towels but this was the worst experience. I then had to book another hotel at the best western because there was no way i could stay here with my family.... If you check my account you will see there is another room booked for the same night....... I now have to pay for this unsanitary place in addition to the best western because they were so filthy..
