we only went there for my friend 60th at the hotel n n the motel as awesome n looking over the balcony to see the view but the weather was shocking in this wet n windy day .thank for us to stay in this place n will definitely coming back again in another times when it beautiful sunny day

Had a lovely stay. Reasonable price. Good size room that was comfy neat and tidy. Had good crockery, toaster kettle and microwave for basic meals. Table and chairs in room and nice supply of toiletries. Lovely staff.

A comfortable room with basic fitout. Netflix a bonus BBQ area dysfunctional during windy weather because the BBQ burners cant heat the hotplate. Overall, handy location & clean room at a reasonable price. .

OK, but the place needs improvement

Very good location, quiet street, plenty of parking, friendly staff, clean beddings and towels and reasonable price. But the shower and toilet are old, the tiles are cracked and painted-over, grouting is unclean, tap is leaking, toilet seat is chipped, toilet cistern is dirty, no garment hooks and the light switch is not near the door. The cutlery and crockery are mismatched and stained. No secondary door lock. A simple entry door mat would help keep dirt out.

Basic accommodation, superb location

Superb location! Basic beach accommodation - fir for purpose/ Grateful for the air conditioning, fridge and shower on those hot days. Simple bedding and towels. Lovely natural shower products. Only issue is the mattress had collapsed in the centre - one of those beds where you roll into the middle. Also no power points next to the bed (for those who may have medical needs etc.) - I suppose easily rectified with an extension cord. Regardless, will happily stay again.

The room was spaceous, with refrigerator, tea, coffee, kettle and SMART TV. Everything was functional. Carpet appeared new. Bedding was okay, not the best and certainly not the worst. Bathroom was okay but sink and taps were old two knob, small sink, little shelf area to put your things, but was nostalgic and a little fun. Bathroom light was box and tube type. The bathroom could use an update but it is a motel not the Hyatt. I would return here if in the area again and if the price was right.

Great location and a good sized room for a small family staying for four nights. Great playground across the road and lots of wonderful restaurants nearby and a short walk to the dolphin cruise pickup point. The on-site Malaysian restaurant was also good with friendly staff. But unfortunately noisy - the pipes in room 6 bang continuously like a loud jackhammer when someone in a neighboring room uses the shower (this happened over the four nights we stayed there, at midnight, and again at 5am, then 5:30, then 6am etc. even 3am on ANZAC day morning.) it was a big problem for us. Also the shower would leak water onto the bathroom floor long after you’d had the shower and even if you dried the floor, so you always got wet feet/socks. And the queen bed in the room was pretty old and uncomfortable, needs replacing. But the single bed, my kid reported, was great.

Location is opposite the beach however the property is somewhat run down. In the bathroom the hot and cold taps are reversed so that where you normally find the cold tap on the right is the hot tap and vice versa. This would be dangerous for children. Not sure why this would be left this way.
