Without us saying anything, the concierge told two customers to smoke by the porte cochere so that they would be away from us in the open air lobby. The room, restaurant, pool, lobby and gym were very clean. Breakfast had a good spread of local and western varieties. The sink stopper was stuck and the kettle leaked when we checked-in, but these got resolved efficiently. Though, Anathera provides two shuttle trips a day to the mall, it would be perfect if the hotel is within walking distance to the mall. Heavy chaotic traffic on narrow lanes with no pedestrian sidewalk does not make it conducive to walking in Bali."
