"We stayed in the South building. The staff are incredible. Attentive and professional. Food and service was outstanding. Room was small but comfortable. So good having ski in ski out. Godala at the door and we were lucky it snowed and we had good skiing in mid Dec. Only thing I would have changed was to book the 3 bed room for a bit more space and views over the ski field. Bus from Nagano Station was easy to catch with luggage."

"Such a wonderful experience. This smaller, quaint, relaxing spa was just the retreat we were looking for after 2 weeks of city life. We really enjoyed the slower pace, the food, and close proximity to Snow Monkey Park and Shiga Kogen."

"Excellent hotel, the room was very spacious. Great buffet breakfast selection. Friendly staffs. Free shuttle bus to Yuzawa station every 30 mins. The snow resort is right next to the hotel; however, it was not yet opened when we were there (mid December) We had to travel to Kagura."
"
Excellent ski resort, wish they had more options to dine at, but other then that, staff very freindly and helpfull, especially Miss Liu. She was very helpfull with transportation and getting around. Definitely recommend this Resort."
"staff were polite, friendly and made us feel at home! special thanks to dining staff Shinya san who was attentive and friendly especially to young children, and also for accommodating our request to dine earlier. he even folded crane origami for us! we really appreciate his thoughtfulness, thank you so"
"My friend had accidentally lost her backpack on the train just before we had arrived to the hotel for check in. As soon as we arrived at the hotel we asked to borrow their phone to call the lost in found center at the train station. After we explained the situation the hotel staff asked us what train we were on and what the backpack looked like and offered to call the station for us to help locate the backpack. This was a huge relief to us because we were worried about the language barrier over the phone. Not only did the hotel staff locate the backpack for us but they also typed out detailed instructions for us in English of where to go to pick up the backpack and what hours that lost/found center would be open. It was so helpful and we were able to get the backpack back easily! Not only was the staff really kind and professional but the hotel itself was really nice. I enjoyed the traditional style room, wearing a yukata for the first time, and being able to take a hot bath in the onsen. This hotel was my favorite on my Japan trip and I want to go back again! "
