Nice place, clean, good shower but no wash cloths provided. Check in staff was excellent. Food was good at the restaurant but service was lacking. Server did not check on me the entire meal.

The room was very modern and beautiful. It had that wow factor. Unfortunately, it was located in a difficult part of the city, so were advised not to venture out. Location is not great.

The staff was incredible. They were very knowledgeable about the area and have great advice. I used the Park Station which can be a bit of an issue and the area is a bit sketchy after dark.

Security guys were fantastic, always keeping an eye on me outside the hotel at the adjacent mall area. The manager Thuli was also helpful and genuinely interested in her guests getting the most from their stays.

Service was absolutely breathtaking ,the place is clean and have a sense of calmness to it.Their staff are friendly and always check on their guests. I always have an awesome safe stay 😊

My luggage was still in Paris and they kindly provided me with a free toothbrush and toothpaste to collect at reception in the morning. Thoughtful.

Good location. Food needs work.
Room was great. Location was good to get to my morning meeting, but not safe to walk around at night. Restaurant was so-so - main course was good but dessert was overpriced and tasteless. Wifi was great.

Comfortable and clean
This was a stay of 2 weeks while completing a local project. The rooms are comfortable, Good quality bed with comfortable pillows. I appreciated the availability of tea and coffee in the room, unusual in Africa. Wifi was fast enough even at weekends when it was more busy. As reported in other reviews the pool is in shade for part of the day because it is west facing but is in sun most of the afternoon. Not a place for a serious swimmer though! The hotel car park has over 50 spaces. A secure place and accessed by barriers. A security guard is always present. A sizeable shopping complex is about 100 m from the hotel and very safe to walk to and from and around. There are plenty of eating places for all pockets and tastes and also 2 supermarkets, some arty shops a cinema and more. Its sometimes difficult to get service in the bar/restaurant as the staff are not always visible and there is no call system. The menu is limited but food well presented and priced competitively with the local restaurants. The security staff of the neighbouring shopping centre tend to have loud conversations outside which echo around the neighbouring buildings and can be early in the morning so I suggest ear plugs for a longer night

Hotel confortable à proximité d'un arrêt du bus rouge City sightseeing. Pas de soucis dans le quartier la journée. Pas de restaurant suffisamment proches pour sortir le soir. Taxi obligé ou resto de l'hôtel , excellent et pas cher mais service très long.

Absolutely wonderful place
I spent 3 days at this hotel. Absolutely an amazing place. The staff was kind and I got the best service I could imagine. Beautiful place, great food, wonderful beds, clean room, peaceful atmosphere, safe surroundings, helpful - like go the second mile - people. I loved it and hope I can bring my whole family another time. I'll definitely come back!

Modern hotel great location
Staff were wonderful and helpful, room was large clean very modern and comfortable. I also liked the convieniece of being able to walk to the shopping centre located right behind the hotel. The only downside was I asked for a quiet room as high up as possible and I got a room on the first floor and the first two nights it sounded like there was a party in corridor as the neighbouring guests all seemed to belong together and liked to go from room to room at midnight/1am.

Really nice hotel and staff but the location was not as good as we expected. Outside of the immediate block of the hotel, not an area you want to around in— that said, it was very close to all we neeeded via uber.

Fantastic hotel, central location
Fantastic place to stay in the centre of Jo'burg. Clean, spacious and well equipped this hotel is ideal for a few days in the city. The neighbouring Newton shopping centre is clean, safe and good value for anyone staying. Can't recommend highly enough.

Punches above a three-star rating
I loved staying here! I was able to check in early upon request, get access to Vhupo Tours, eat the delicious buffet breakfast and have a brilliant hot and soothing shower after a 17-hour flight. My room was beautiful and I had a lovely pool view. Prudence, Waheeda and two other front desk staff were accommodating and so helpful. Loved my tours with Vusi. Tremendous customer service with amenities such as meetings room, a gym, a computer station...couldn't ask for anything more.

Get stay for a Pilanesberg Safari tour
The hotel was wonderful! Very modern and clean, with an excellent staff! The location might not be the safest place to wonder around by yourself at night, but the hotel is gated and guarded, and right next door is a new shopping area that has many police officers. We had a short visit but had an excellent time!
