"A grand lobby and hotel idea for sure but can come a little stronger with little things. I enjoy the lobby area and how much there is to see. I get the concept, lodge/cabin and the room reflected that. But there needs to be small upgrades. Could not figure out the ac and that can be bad in Texas. Furniture in room, hallways, dated and so is bath. Booked a room for four but had a bar of soap a little bigger than a quarter. No hand soap/ shampoo, conditioner. Nice grounds, pool area and lots of staff/ maintenance on property. Close to a lot of store/ restaurants and quiet. Even if it says break available online, that is not the case. Was told buffet was only available after Wednesday but left day before."

"Extremely attentive staff from the front office to housekeeping to laundry to the kitchen/dining area. The most professional and courteous we have encountered recently. Special kudos to Tatnea, the food manager, who went out of her way to assist and accommodate. We had a service dog, and the entire property was wonderful for the pooch. We will return."

"My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at The Meyer Hotel. The hotel grounds are very pretty, with a beautiful pool as well. The room was clean with a comfortable bed and linens. The Meyer is just a half block from the shops and restaurants - very walkable. We parked our car on the first night and didn't move it again until we were leaving. I look forward to staying again soon!"

"Check in was completed quickly and promptly. Very professional and pleasing staff. We were there one hour early prior to check in and were still able to acquire our room. Used the gym which was convenient and roomy. Facilities were accommodating, room was large with divided area containing desk and nice large couch. Shower was built awkwardly...small and the door opened to the inside making it difficult to get in and out. I'm a small lady of only 125 lbs and just getting in, I would get wet. Breakfast was somewhat of a disappointment. For a $200 a night room I was expecting slightly more out of the breakfast. It was the typical breakfast provided by hotels at the price range of $100 a night. At the more expensive hotels, a really nice fruit bowl was provided. Apples and bananas were provided here. Overall I would stay here again and recommend the facility but only for the location. It is a very nice part of town. Shopping malls and restaurants everywhere if that is what you are looking for. We were there for a competition."
