"While I don't know what I was expecting as far as check in goes, you check in at the little office which was easy. The path to drive up to the cabin is a little rocky and uneven so be careful. But WOW.... the cabin was amazing! Clean like wow and the windows above all around make for a beautiful view all night. Only downside was the cabin shares a wall and we could hear them talking. Still - I would stay here again if I am ever in Williams. "

"The Slim Shack Cabin is an amazing property. Everything is high quality on the inside and out. It is fully stocked with everything you would need. The backyard patio is perfect for stargazing on a clear night. There are plenty of pine trees on the property that whisper with the breeze. Highly recommend."

"We traveled to the Grand Canyon and stayed here on Mother’s Day 2026. The check-in was smooth. Our room was neat and clean. We enjoyed having a window that could be opened and we left it open until the middle of the night for fresh Grand Canyon air. There were elk outside our lodge both days we were there and also deer early in the morning as we made our way over to the look-out point for sunrise! It is very nice to stay inside the park because you are able to easily go and take in views at certain view points before the park opens. There is a grocery store nearby this lodge as well as a gift shop and a dining hall with lots of food options. You can also pick up the shuttle bus right near the building where you check into the lodge."

"Location was fantastic, right beside the airport mesa, which is a top area to watch sunset, the views were EPIC. The grounds were well maintained and so beautiful w fountains, lights & decorated beautifully. The have a private garden area they use for receptions, weddings & it was exceptionally beautiful overlocking the red rocks and town. The rooms are well appointed and the was the most comfortable of my vacation! Our patio deck opened up to a beautiful water fountain garden area. We ordered room service, salad & pizza which was delivered promptly and a decent meal. I would 100% recommend a stay here! Worth every penny and wasn’t very expense considering the grounds, rooms & EPIC VIEW!"
