"We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Athena Spa. We booked a twin room, which was very clean and quiet. However, the room was quite small, and everything in it felt undersized, including the shelves, desk, and safe. There was also no refrigerator in the room, which would have been a nice addition.
The staff were friendly, professional, and courteous throughout our stay.
The hotel is located outside the city center, so getting to the historic areas and downtown requires taking a tram. It takes around 20 minutes in total, including the walk to the nearest tram station, so it’s something to keep in mind when choosing the location.
The breakfast was fantastic, with fresh bread and pastries, homemade-style jams, cheese, nuts, eggs, great coffee, and many other delicious options. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and especially enjoyed the cleanliness, quiet atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent breakfast."
"Excellent hotel, very close to the station but still quiet and peaceful. A relaxing vibe as soon as you walked in. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was very good. The room and bed were comfortable. Highly recommended and we would stay here again without hesitation."

"Wonderful experience at this hotel; when I return to Strasbourg, this is the hotel I will select. Arriving with luggage, there is a tram from Gare Centrale to a stop right in front of the hotel (quick YouTube tutorial on how to properly purchase and validate tram tickets, which is actually quite simple). Great, convenient location, right next to Galleries Lafayette as well as the main shopping street. Extremely quiet, slept very well here. Rooms were spacious and clean. This was the best hotel I had during my visit to France. I absolute recommend this hotel if the value proposition works for your budget during the time you're visiting."
"The hotel is very close to the main train station, and also walking distance to the main attractions in the city. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Amenities are good."
"Excellent location, comfy bed, well stocked bar, helpful staff - we didn't need much more! Only thing wrong was an out of order lift, but this seemed out of the norm!"
"The newly renovated hotel was beautiful, and quiet. The whole stay from check-in to check out was an elevated experience..
We enjoyed the expansive spa with its multiple saunas, soaking pool, steam room and treatments, and returned several times during our stay. The rooms were comfortable, well appointed and spacious. Their rooftop bar at sunset was great, fun vibes and what a magnificent view.
We hope to be able to return here again in the future and enjoy all the amenities offered at this fine establishment."
"Clean, comfortable bed, well-located for the city centre and public transport (literally one tram stop from the central station) but in a quiet, mostly residential area. Great value."
"The hotel was centrally located. A quick walk to both the cathedral area and Petite France. They held our luggage for the day while we continued to explore the Strausburg area. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again. I'd recommend it to friends."
"Good location is to drive to and park nearby. Easy walk to centre. Staff polite and friendly. Breakfast is included but quite basic, enough for a start to the day. Upgraded from comfort room to 7th floor suite (due refurb). Very modern, clean and minimalist. Strange, given random laws in France that windows (even on 7th floor) have no restriction? Good value hotel in good location. Would likely use again."
