This hotel is close to bus terminal and downtown, so you can find this hotel easily and go wherever you want. The breakfast is good, and the clerks of this hotel are so nice, even housekeeper. But, wi-fi is slower than other hotel, so you should keep it in mind. It depends on the floor and the room's location, i think. Anyway, when i was staying there, i think this hotel is so fine and good, so i recommend it!

If I could give this place 6 out of 5 stars I would. We stayed here during Christmas. Karlovy Vary is full of hotel options, many of which are expensive and corporate. This place is family owned and has a local feel. From the moment we entered, the staff cared enough to ask if we had dinner reservations for Christmas dinner and when we didn’t, assisted us on his own in calling around to find an option for us and making us a reservation. They asked what time we would like breakfast on Christmas morning and nice home cooked breakfast is provided for hotel guests daily. We chose a basic room in line with our budget but it was clean, the water pressure was great, and it served our every need. The location of this hotel is perfect- right across from coffee shops and restaurants, the Becherovka distillery and a short walk to the hot springs. Parking is about 800m walk away but you can drop your bags off at the hotel before parking, and it is discounted and in a secured underground garage. 10/10 would stay here again.

Value, location & friendly service!

Hotel Kavalerie is in a great location-very walkable! It’s a nice small hotel. The staff are very friendly & speak English very well. The breakfast was good. There is no a/c, but there was a fan in the room. My husband uses a CPAP, it was difficult with the room not having night stands because it was so small, hard to set up his medical device. The hotel was clean. The price was great! I Recommend this hotel for value, location & friendly staff!

Top Lage, Top Preis Top freundliches Personal

Top Lage, Top Preis Top freundliches Personal. immer wieder

Have been waiting an hour for getting into hostel to check in under the rain at 22:00 Breakfast wasn’t as good as some hostels During my 5 days staying only 4 days rubbish bin has been changed but not once to clean the bathroom & wipe the floor...dirty because all the members of family are bosses...better to stay in hostels could be cheaper...don’t go there !!!

Lugnt hotell i vacker stadsidyll

Nice rooms and a pleasant breakfast room.Well situated for me as it was only about a 15 minute walk to the main (upper) railway station while the lower railway station and bus garage are just round the corner.Found the hotel to be a good base to use while visiting the town and surrounding area.On the downside the hotel doesn't have a lift,I'd have loved a room safe and it's the first hotel I've been to which didn't have soap dispensers in the shower or next to the sink. All things considered though I'd certainly use it again.

Didn't meet the description I had paid for

I booked a double bed room for single use. In hotels.com description the room was supposed to "overlook the courtyard". This mean that the room should have a window looking to some kind of courtyard. But it didn't. Just had a window on the roof of the room, most accurately a hatch on the roof, accecible only with a very long stick to move the shader!!! Overlooking a courtyard of a place in moon or another planet maybe. I felt like I was in a cage as the room had no other windows apart from this hatch and asked the receptionist to give me another room with the description I had paid for. But the answer from the receptionist was to give more money so they would give me another upgraded room. I talked to phone with the manager and his excuse was " I can't have a complete description on all the hotel rooms". unfortunately I had prepaid for my stay, otherwise I would move to another hotel. Description of the room concerning this key feature was deceptive and I would NOT have booked the room if I knew what the reality was. I am a frequent user of hotels.com and I first time i felt very stressed with this kind of situation. I will make a report to hotels.com and ask for compensation cause the room I stayed didn't meet the description of the room I had booked and paid for.
