The staff were so helpful and genuinely kind. The hotel felt traditional and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Rooms were large, spacious and clean. The facilities including the roof terrace were clean and well looked after

Gorgeous, Friendly, and Rooms Need Repairs
The exterior and the lobby are gorgeous. The rooms are clean, but my door lock stuck and neither the a/c nor the frig worked. The hotel did send someone to look at the air conditioner, but he couldn't fix it. The staff was generally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.
This is Neoal we are talking about. Standards are a bit different. I have stayed her before and the staff is wonderful. They will help you in every way possible. They are friendly. The room is clean and comfortable. Some nice shopping stalls nearby and a wonderful spa, Shambala, is right next door.

Hitel in kathmandu
It is a God location, close to Durbai square, staff very friendly, our room air conditioner didn't work, food was not that good . For the price it was very goodt. Beautiful Tibetan carpets
As I was in a rush to check out, I left my cell phone in the room. THe hotel room cleaner discovered it within five mins of my departure, immediately notified the front desk, and they called the driver who was taking me to the airport. We had time to turn around and retrieve it. What fantastic service!!!
Beautiful decor and a very welcoming experience. Hotel was affordable with large comfortable rooms and nice common areas.

Upgrades in the works
Good stay but hotel needs a little TLC. I was told a new Salon is being built and the 5th floor bar was new. The parking lot is walled off and I was told a new hotel addition is being built. Staff is very helpful and friendly.
Hotel Tibet is my favorite hotel anywhere and I have stayed many times. I love the staff, always helpful and friendly. I love the decor - traditonal Tibetan feel. And I love the kitchen, great momo's. Just simply could not be pleased more.

Highly recommend Hotel Tibet
A delightful stay where we could relax or fill our days. The staff were polite and lovely during our stay. The hotel is located in a quiet area that was still conveniently close to local attractions. Walking distance to a supermarket.
I have stayed at Hotel Tibet numerous times. I love it there as it always feels like home away from home. Clean and well managed with the feel of a Tibetan hotel. The staff is simply wonderful and the hotel is located on a quiet side street away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist district Thamel. The restaraunt is also excellent and well managed with a very nice breakfast.
Staff very friendly, couteous and helpful .Breakfast with plenty of choice , with Anita in charge, helpful and smiling at all times . The fifth floor restaurant was excellent with special thanks to Anil,Sanjeer,Rabi,Gyopal and their manager Tara . So kind and happy always.
Lift to upper floors was brilliant.no stairs to climb!!!!!
Very central for sightseeing and trekkers .
lovely hotel with warm if leaisurely service. Rooftop restaurant was an oasis, and breakfast was plentiful and very good/

Nice to look at, but beware of bed bugs!
The hotel lobby is beautiful and the staff are wonderful. My biggest problem with this hotel were the bed bugs...I got eaten alive. I moved rooms and still had problems. They were constantly spraying for bed bugs, a chronic problem.
Sensation immédiate de confort chaleureux et authentique - confort soigné avec les inconvénients techniques du pays - resto sur place très simple mais soigné - j'ai aimé -
I was pleased to stay in Hotel Tibet. it's very nice and clean hotel in the quite centrally located area of Kathmandu.

It's okay...
It's a relatively okay hotel considering its rate. Only one bottle of complementary drinking water provide at check-in regardless of number of night stay. Free wifi for one device only. Food served at restaurant is good.
I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Tibet! It is a beautiful property and has a real family feel to it. The staff are superb and the great thing is, you really feel the Nepalese/Tibetan culture by staying in such a property - it's so very special. Great small restaurants and I just love the ambience of the Yeti Bar on the rooftop. It's located in a nice area and there are lots of nice shops selling traditional Nepalese crafts within 5 minutes walk. I would thoroughly recommend a stay at the hotel to experience something very special indeed.

Great rooftop
Situated about a 5min walk out of Thamel (or around 300rup taxi). Fantastic rooftop and bar. The water in the taps smelled kind of funky but they had hot water. A/C in my room was pretty rubbish. Fairly old building - Would have been in its heyday in the 60s. WiFi was Nepalese standard (not fast but okay) and they had a generator kick in during the frequent blackouts. For the price it was totally fine and you could do a lot worse.
Stayed twice, in quiet, friendly surroundings. Welcoming and clean, good food and great ethnic decor. Rooftop Yeti bar a hit! El Fresco lunch and breakfast in shade and comfort.
Highly recommend!!

Pleasant Place and staff, but rather pricy.
It's basic and functional, tucked in a nice quiet place.
My wife and I stayed a total of 7 nights and found the staff to be very helpful and friendly.
The hotel is within walking distance of the Thamel shopping district and many interesting places.
