“This hotel has very few staff working. There isn't a single human being present at the reception desk; everything is handled via a machine that connects you with someone in Asia.”

“Nice hotel with easy beach access and included towels and chairs. Drink service on the beach from the hotel. Very nice restaurant with good wine selection in the hotel - but book early. Also good for lunch. Parking included. Separate place with shower to clean up after check out if needed. Room was small (if you had four people in it) but comfortable and well laid out with small kitchenette and full fridge. Table for eating and two sitting chairs. Helpful staff.”

“Location - great! Housekeepers - very friendly and helpful! Room - cute and A/C worked well! Parking - not so great, but the lot down the street a bit was fine Kayaks - not maintained, ie no seats with backrests We used Mike's kayaking on Hickory - close and very affordable”

“Breakfast was wonderful, fresh and hot. Room was clean and nicely se up. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Air conditioning was right on. Was a bit confused about why being a local resident they wanted a 250.00 deposit. But everything else was just wonderful. I would be returning. I will be recommending to family and friends as well”

“Conty’s is like a blast from the past. If you think of how a hotel in Florida would have looked in the 70s this is it. Property was in decent shape on the outside the inside of the rooms could use a renovation but at the end of the day it was a clean spot to lay our heads for the night and for the price there is nothing we could complain about”

“I guess the place was under construction travel six hours to get there got undressed, jumped in the shower and the water in the whole hotel for 45 minutes went down to the front desk. They knew about it but didn’t tell me anything about that at check-in, I think that’s pretty crappy.”
