“The whiskey bar is very special. It was a little understaffed when we were there but the choice is exceptional. Breakfast was lovely and the lead server is lovely and attentive.”

“Rooms were great, exceeding expectations considering its location in the countryside and cheap price.
However, the owner should not be so aggressive about inconveniences caused by guests.
If he thought we were too loud in our rooms, the owner should have simply said so.
Barging in to our room without any warning or properly announcing himself(he just opened the door and came in his bathrobes) was unacceptable. Proceeding to then waving/pointing the end of his walking stick at his guests' faces...

“We stayed in one of the offsite casa style rooms which was perfect for our family (we were parents travelling with two teenagers). Room was clean and had all we needed for our two night stay. We appreciated the afternoon scones and tea in the main hotel. We were surprised that our rooms didn’t have any housekeeping between our first and second nights so I’m not sure if that was part of the casa room service or not but our request for addition towels was taken care of quickly!”
