Lovely place with great atmosphere. The locals also prefer this to the many pubs available. Had multiple stays and always had good service, clean rooms and a great breakfast to start the day. Would recommend.

Charming, clean and comfortable. Lovely pub downstairs. Reception and check in was quick, straightforward- I was very grateful for the parking option and directions. Bar staff were friendly helpful and polite. My single room had everything I needed for the two nights but it can get a bit hot on July and somewhat difficult to keep the room dark early am. It felt very safe and the toiletries included shampoo were nice. Breakfast was a bit of an issue - the blond staff lady person was bordering rude when I by accident sat at a table for two and not one. She used exaggerated hand gestures to indicate “1 person” for “1 table placing”. When I asked for butter I was told the bread was already buttered and whether I wanted “more!?” Needless to say I did not have breakfast the next day as it was not a very welcoming experience or how I’d like to start the day. Bar staff were great in the evening at making restaurant recommendations and where to walk/sight see in the local area. It was lovely to be able to walk for miles and not having to get in a car for that, see the canal, fields, old church etc. and even wonder into town.

I don't normally bother writing hotel reviews, but enjoyed my stay so determined to leave positive feedback. This is essentially a small and very nice bar (with a very nice atmosphere and well kept beers) with rooms attached. My room was at the back away from the street and quiet, well equipment and comfortable. Bathroom a little small but towels and soaps all good. Breakfast was great, hot and cold options to suit different tastes. I parked on-street outside (as free 2 hrs and i arrived early evening & left next morning) but there is a private car park at the back of the hotel if needed. I'd stay there again.

Great place to stay

The Old Bakery was a great place to stay with a spactious and clean room. Breakfast was excellent. My only criticism is tht the walls are a little thin so you can hear your neighbour occasionally.

Good hotel in the heart of Kenilworth. No parking available although when booking it said free parking. Ended up payin £12 parking at the nearest car park. Room was neat and tidy although lighting was fim and there was a small mark on the bedding. However, loved the decor in the bar where we had breakfast and breakfast was great. A little gem

Our first visit and we would definitely stay again. Convenient for the University of Warwick, with a frequent bus service right on to the campus. Room, bed and free breakfast were lovely. There is some on-site parking and a large reasonably priced car park close by. The bar is open to the public and closes at 10.30, but hotel guests can take drinks to their rooms until 11.00.

I enjoyed the cozy ambience and community-feel of the Old Bakery Hotel. The room was quaint, but had everything a solo traveller would need - it was quite hot but the staff provides fans that solve the problem. The parking is a bit tight, so just be conscious of this if you have a bigger vehicle. The location is walking distance from the castle, a few local dining establishments, and a beautifully serene park which I spent most of my time. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very accommodating throughout the stay. If you are looking for a cozy, quiet getaway, I would highly recommend staying at the Old Bakery Inn.

Nice hotel in old part of town.

Very small car park at back of hotel. only about 5 cars. I found it difficult to get out of when it was full but managed to park on road. No restaurant but good breakfast. Small room for price paid but very friendly and helpful staff. Many thanks.

Carpet on stairs very worn & thread bare. Vey old shower cubicle which had no handle on the door, which made it hard to open or close. Tiled floor in bathroom which if wet would be very slippery, someone could have a serious accident in there, no alarm bell to don’t know how it passed health & safety guide lines. Lie back and enjoy

A lovely little hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful, very clean and the breakfast was excellent. The bar as you enter has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and an impressive array of beers available, all in excellent condition, only small gripe was the sliding shower door was very awkward to open and close, apart from that, one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at.
