"We were expecting a more high end stay but it felt more like a teenager spring break vibes. We stayed at Margaritaville before and prefer that over this place. When we got off our plane at Margaritaville early, before check in time it was no problem to get us right to our room but at Southernmost Point we had to wait all day, until 4, they gave some people that waited extra perks but we weren’t offered anything. Our tv internet didn’t work and they told us they would send someone to fix it and they never did. Every morning at 7am maintenance started drilling and using loud power tools. It just wasn’t the experience we’ve had at other hotels in Key West. It was a disappointment for us. We choose this hotel because of the beach access and while I understand the seaweed season is not their fault there was zero attempts to clean up the beach area so it felt like such a waste of money. They had huge piles of old seaweed from what looked like an attempt to clean the beach area but those piles were old and very stinky. The whole property smells like rotting fish."
