"Traveling for a work function and booked a room here. First time visiting New Bern and the Aerie was more than I ever expected. My mom and I arrived and immediately welcomed by Beth. Let me tell you, she is amazing and made us feel like part of her family. We were treated so well during our short stay and cannot wait to come back. From the well appointed room to the incredible breakfast, nothing disappointed! The birds were so fun and i enjoyed talking to them while making a cup of coffee, all complimentary during our stay. We felt very safe and comfortable and could have slept with the door open! Beth takes so much pride in the Aerie and we were so impressed! Cannot wait to go back for a more extended stay! Thanks Beth for your hospitality!"

"Excellent hotel. Very spacious room, elegant and modern. Staff was super friendly and nice and always happy to respond questions about the city. Located on the water,the hotel is in proximity of main streets with shops and restaurants. We are really happy that we stayed few nights at this hotel"

"The only thing that really bothered me is we had 6 in our party and it says it sleeps 8, but only 2 of the beds had bedding. There were 2 more sets of sheets but no blankets and the fold out bed was not even sleepable for the kids it was so uncomfortable so 2 slept on the couch as it was. We had to go buy extra blankets for the other beds as they didnt come with them. I know we got a great rate and dishes wise it had everything we needed, but it could use minor updates. Also the toilet backed up into the bathtub the last night so we couldnt use the second bathroom. But otherwise it was good. They let us check in way early and leave an hour late, which helped a lot. I would just suggest blankets for all the beds in the future along with replacing the foldout bed. We did have the best spot, right next to all the ammenities though. "
