There were spiders and spider webs all over our room, the cups in the room were dirty but we had cups from McDonald’s so we used them. Room smelt musty and shut up.The property was beautiful but our room was not as we expected for such a nice resort and area surrounding. We are hotel hopping all around Ireland and this place has by far been the dirtiest place we stayed.

Beautiful grounds . We barely enjoyed the hotel since we only spent one night but I can see the quality of golfing and fine eating here . Reception desk very kind

Decor was quite old fashioned, particularly the bathroom. The rooms are very hot with no fans (even after asking reception). Location is around 5 minute drive out of Killarney city centre Beautiful view in the parlour room but doesn’t feel like a 4 star hotel

We spent one night here. The room was clean and large for 3 adults. No air conditioning and when we asked for a fan for the room we were told there were none! Quite warm in room!! We booked a table in the dining room as we read in the hotel information leaflet that this is a special experience. Well we were disappointed. The food was good but the service was poor. Half way there the meal they started setting up for breakfast it was like being in a canteen The location is fantastic but I would say it’s a 3 star hotel. Good for families but a bit of let down for us

Had an amazing stay in this beautiful hotel. Staff so friendly and helpful. Breakfast really good with wonderful options. Within walking distance of Killarney town centre.

Great location
We stayed here for one night during a tour of southern Ireland. We asked for an accessible room as my wife is in a wheelchair and in that regard it was the best equipped hotel we stayed in during our week away. The room and bathroom was very spacious and the walk-in shower meant that my wife was able to have her only shower of the week. We had a nice evening meal in the Dining Room, which has a great view across the Killarney National Park. If using the swimming pool you do need a bathing hat, which caught me out but the staff in the spa were very helpful and loaned me one. The swimming pool changing room was a bit disappointing and could have been cleaner.

Great stay
Was a great location for what we were looking to do. The room was spacious and so modern and clean along with the bathroom which would be our first preference as we’re out all day hiking and love a spacious room with a comfortable bed and good bathroom and shower 🙋‍♀️ Will definitely return again and will try the golfing on the hotel grounds along with dinner in the bar this time rather than restaurant. Everything was just as we needed and as I’m a local lady anyway and first time here it most certainly won’t be our last thank you ☺️

The property is a bit tired, but a very comfortable stay. Staff were very accommodating, and the grounds and surrounding area are stunning. I’d recommend asking for a room facing the golf course/ mountain

Je dois dire que nous sommes tombé sur un long week end . Beaucoup d’enfants qui courent partout et salle à manger agitée . Piscine pour adulte seulement de 7 à 9. Un peu trop familial pour moi mais vue magnifique de la salle à manger . Beau resort

Hotel and restaurant staff were top-notch. The hotel could use a little more parking, but overall a satisfactory experience.

Beautiful, casual elegance on the lake. Every where you look is amazing. Great sport spa facility, as well. The best Angus fillet I have ever had!

Nice Rooms in a Beautiful Area
Great place to stay near Killarney. Check in was quick and easy. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable when asked about local recommendations. The room we stayed in was large, comfortable, and had power outlets in good locations. Large bathroom as well. We were only here for one night, so we didn't utilize all the amenities, but the walking trail was great, and the fitness center and pool areas looked very nice. Breakfast in the morning was good and had options for a hot bar, cold/pastry bar, or a few custom menu items from the kitchen. Overall great experience here and would stay here again the next time we visit the area!

Gorgeous place to stay
Fairly large room. Plenty of electrical outlets. No safe. Great window overlooking the golf course and the mountains. Heated towel rack. Free Wi-Fi if a little slow. Free parking. Gorgeous grounds. Breakfast was 12 euros, but you could get as much as you wanted at the buffet.

Enjoyable stay.
Really enjoyed our stay and felt very safe with the C19 precautions. Only issue we encountered was the loo needed 2 or 3 flushings as the pressure didnt seem very high.

Care and attention to looking after their guests
From the time you walked into Castlerosse reception your safety and welfare was paramount all staff were continually cleaning and checking all ok. Ozzy vital (hope you get you your grandads 90th) and Leena in the restaurant were superb thank you. We were on a three day break and have to say hotel was brilliant from food staff to facilities thank you so much for making our few days so enjoyable we will definitely be back
