"Stayed at the Marco Hotel recently. The check-in staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, which made a great first impression. The location is also super convenient..especially if you’re heading to the convention center. That said, the room itself was…off. The overall vibe felt a bit funky, and unfortunately the bathroom had a strong urine odor that was hard to ignore. Definitely took away from the stay. Great people and location, but the room cleanliness needs serious improvement."

"I experienced such a horrible check in at another hotel and the staff at this hotel SAVED MY LIFE! I thank the staff at front desk. They were kind and helpful I plan to come back, that’s how much I enjoyed my stay. I was only in lake Charles because my daughter played in the Nationals for basketball. I now know an amazing place to come visit. Thank you "

"Room was quiet. Water temp hard to regulate in shower. Kitchenette added much value to room."

"The smoke detector was on top of refrigerator. Floor dirty keep it socks on . Refrigerator was not clean. The vinyl wrap on the floor slash wall by the door was off. Trash cans outside full all 2 nights. I mean if u need to do it cheap then it works "

"This is my to go hotel/motel when heading east and/or going to the casino. The staff/owners are awesome and very courteous. I love the fact that they have a covered patio where I can enjoy my morning coffee and cigarette or to just relax with my favorite adult beverage. I would definitely recommend staying here, whether it be traveling with family or solo."

"The A/C was a bit noisy. That is my only complaint."
