The hotel had extensive damage from the storm that went through in the weeks prior. Unfortunately that left the hotel with a pretty bad smell. The hotel just looked unsafe but was the only option we had so we stayed. So much was dingy and dirty the lamp shades were full of rust, the carpets felt wet, there was just a lot going on amd not in a good way.

Disappointed customer.

No tv, pool was very dirty and green, room was ok. House cleaning didnt clean bathtub, leave enough towels for 2. There was trash, beer cans every where, all trash cans over filled. Lots of construction going on. I understand damage from the storm, but they should not charge full rate, or offer another stay.

A person has to go into this with the understanding that some parts of this state were effected by hurricane laura. This hotel has wind and water damage so know that when booking. It is very close to the casino which was our reason for staying there but don't expect much from this hotel in it's currently state.

Pisser! Took my reservation 10 days earlier, but when I showed up at 10:30 p.m. after a 4 hour drive to come help with clean up in the area, I was told "No rooms! We cancelled everything!" WTH?!

I was already in lake Charles 2 hours before check in its a 5 hour drive from home. Got message that our reservation was canceled so we had to go back home. I think if we have to cancel 24 hours in advance they should give us advance notice also.

Muy mala experiencia

El hotel sufrió daños por el Huracán Laura, se notaba en la piscina y el mal olor, uno de los cuartos olía a humedad y por consecuencia la cama no era cómoda, los pasillos estaban sucios y mal olientes con colillas de cigarros tiradas, rente dos cuartos y los dos eran diferentes, el check in tardo mucho y la chica no era muy amable, gente tomando justo en la entrada hasta altas horas de la noche, la verdad no es un buen hotel, no pienso volver a hospedarme ahí

You'd think that being next door to a casino that they'd take better care of the property. I understand the "get what you pay for" mentality, but my door handle was broken, the ceiling above the shower was falling down, and the carpet looks like it hasn't been changed out in over 20 years. Also, the doors aren't very good as keeping noise out. Since it's next to a casino, people come in and out all hours of the night and make a lot of noise that wakes you up constantly throughout the night.

Days inn kinder is my favorite hotel in kinder. Staff is always helpful and rooms are very clean. They really go over and beyond and it makes me feel safe and comfortable there. Days inn you are the best for me.

Horrible stay.

As soon as we walk in the room, the air conditioner cover was on the floor. I go to find someone just to be told that happens all the time and to just put it back on. I refused and had the front desk manager come and place it back on there. The bed was full of stains as well as the carpet. The tv also did not work. We then had a family emergency and could not stay and they did not want to work out a refund for the second night until I spoke with Hotels.com!!

No breakfast at all except coffee in room. Pool was dirty and we asked several times if they would vaccuum it.hallway smelled weird. Glad we took lysol with us.We had a non smoking room, and they quilt had ciggeratte holes several. Stayed there few days. Wish we would have known it was going to be that ,we might as well slepted in my car. They should put a direct phone number to each motel/hotel so people kinda know what to expect.ac was ok,water was hard.

It was quick to get to our room but window you can tell are never dusted cause the dust webs on them. Room was clean other then that. We had 2 room and both the AC didnt blow and cool the room so we switched a eoom and same thing luckly we had stuff to keep us busy so we didnt stay in our rooms much. This place has gone down a bit.

Rm was terrible, old sprung type mattress, not like pictures old elevator got stuck, outlet in bathroom didnt work, smoking rms were under rated...non smoking were nice so being a smoker u got treated like horrible ..well smokers lives matter!!!
