"Perfect for an overnight stay before early flight. Clean and tidy common areas and rooms of a good condition. Breakfast was good and fresh (except no fried eggs). Enjoyed our stay and would stay again."

"Hotel has seen better days. However the view is stunning. Main issues were in the bedroom. Most uncomfortable bed ever, thing was even a four poster but with a terrible mattress. Scrap the four poster and just put a decent bed in! Room was very basic, upgraded to a executive or whatever it was, but apart from the view there was nothing special about it. No heating or cooling controls either. But the view was amazing. You could hear absolutely everything happening around you. The floor boards in the room upstairs would literally wake you. If someone moved upstairs, you knew about it. If someone walked by in the corridor, the bed would move... View was great though! Car parking was good enough, shame there wasn't much of an outdoor space to enjoy a drink near the bar. Attempted to talk with someone on checkout to mention our feedback for the two nights, waited ten minutes, dialed the number on the phone - and no-one appeared. Wedding party last night, we enjoyed their DJ from the uncomfortable bed. Congratulations to the newly weds. "

"I stayed at DoubleTree with the main intention of relaxing and using the spa. Unfortunately, as I didn’t book spa treatments in advance, I wasn’t able to have the full experience I had hoped for. That said, the pool, jacuzzi, and sauna were all excellent, and the spa staff were very supportive and welcoming. Across the entire hotel, including the restaurant, the staff were attentive, warm, and genuinely made me feel welcomed. The level of service was both fulfilling and pleasantly surprising. Overall, a very positive experience, especially thanks to the people working there."

"The staff were helpful and polite. The lovely young lady showed us the room. Didn't use the bar/ restaurant, but had a very quiet night on the perfect bed in the clean room. There are plenty of parking spaces close to the building. "

"Clean room bed a bit tired not very comfortable ok for a short stay stopped at sand bay several times before first time room had no shower only a bath a bit strange as it looked like bathroom had been recently refurbished, 80s weekend so great entertainment day and night easy access to the beach if you like fresh air all the usual stuff you woul expect small swimming pool , snooker tables, pool and darts . Dining room clean again looks like recently refurbished with new tables and chairs decent food and plenty of it would go again "

"I work nights so don’t really get to see anyone but all amenities are here,fair amount of road noise but that’s down to me working nights not the fault of property "
