Lack of transparency

The hotel (guesthouse) informations on hotel.com is not real. After I checked in i was told by the hotel management that, they are to update the hotel information on Hotel.com website. I was expecting a pool and also regular house keeping, as stated on the wedsite! I spent 6 night 0 house keeping, just two towels 2 rolls of toilet paper and 1 small soap! One of the hotel staff Shawn was very helpful tho.

There were ants all over my room. The air conditioner did not function properly including was leaking water. They did not clean the room any day I was there nor replaced towels. Shampoo nor conditioner were provided.

well, the worst experience you can think of. We booked this hotel at the last moment.We have booked 2 rooms but at last was provided with single room and due to non-availability of hotels in Kingston we(4 persons) have to stay in 1 room for 3 days and they have charged for 2 rooms.

Safe location

They really, really try to make your stay pleasant. They are very resourceful when it comes to scheduling tours and finding food. I wish they could renovate the place a little, but the staff said they have more upscale locations for a higher price. Overall will stay again

I would definitely go back,the staff were very easy to get along with..... I had no problems and I was across the road from a shopping center!!!!! Supermarket and everything across the road 😊:D

Great Value and Good Service!

This was a one-bedroom apartment, rather Spartan with basic decor and facilities. The internet was fast. There was hot water, tv, stove, refrigerator, microwave, and utensils. Due to the mechanical failure of my first plane, the flight was delayed by 2 hours causing me to miss the connecting flight to Jamaica. The next available flight was scheduled to land in Montego Bay and I eventually arrived at this "hotel" around 1am in the morning, way after check-in hours. Someone was available to assist me at all times, even with directions to the hotel. The location is central to many amenities. There is a shopping center directly across the street. The apartment complex is very well maintained and surroundings were clean. The neighbors were quiet. It is a gated community with a security guard.

They set you up give you your keys, and you have your own little apt. WiFi Privacy etc. They don't bother you and if you need anything just ask.

Very miserable 24 hours

Despite many conversations advising that I would check in late, I was not informed of the $15.00 late arrival fee. don't mind the fee, upset about the manner in which it was handled. Facility had no water. Absolutely none. Took concierge about 45 mins - 1 hour to find alternative accommodation; this was a shared facility. Very, very upset about that. Staff advised Expedia this facility was more expensive and they did not charge the additional monies. I don't see how they could.

Go 876 cancelled my booking without my knowlede

On my way to the hotel (guest apartment at Ravinia my original booking), I was told that the room was cancelled and they booked me in another guest house in Stony Hill, which was much farther away from the original location. After much back and forth with the GO 876 staff, (they didn't even have the address of the new place for the taxi driver) we arrived and had to wait for about a half hour for someone to arrive on location to let us in. The new location was nice and quiet in a pretty location in Stony Hill, not far from Constant Spring, but it was up hill so you definitely need a car to be able to get around there comfortably. The view was beautiful but the only thing that lost points was that there was no blanket and inadequate bedding. The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows flat. Overall the new location (Rochampton retreat) was not bad. I would give it 4/5 stars because it was private, and relatively quiet with a beautiful view. I had access to kitchen where I could make my own meals, and there was mini fridge in my room. The manager/owner was also quite pleasant and easy to keep in touch with during my stay. GO 876 lost points for cancelling the booking with no notice causing me additional and unplanned costs.
