I did not like that my room smelled like mildew. And the cleanliness of the room was very poor. I went out and bought my own cleaning supplies and clean the room to my satisfaction. The housekeeper was very friendly.

The only thing i did not like was that the lake that the website advertised across the street was actually on private property and you have to go a few miles down the road to actually enjoy fishing.

Nice quiet little place to rest
Had a peaceful and comfortable one night stay here during my long trip west. No issues. I would stay here again. The pillows were very stiff but bed was comfortable.

A little gem in Tennessee
Stopped in on the way back from a business trip to Nashville. Was met by a pleasant lady at the front desk who checked me in. Very old-school. Facilities are dated but perfectly clean and comfortable. Quite affordable and an excellent place to stay!

Old motel, old furnishings. Front desk host efficient. Clean bathroom, clean sheets. We were glad to get a lower rate motel in a convenient location.

Room quiet at night, no outside noise. Room clean, bed comfortable. Shower with good water pressure. Good coffee in the morning.... Not much offerings at breakfast but enough to get you started for the day. I liked pulling up to the front door of my room to unload. No elevators, no hallways, just in and out. Mexican restaurant and liquor store just a 30-second walk away. I wasn't impressed with the Mexican food but the margarita hit the spot after a long day on the road. The couple that worked at the motel we're very nice and accommodating. The only thing I would have liked in my room would be at TV channel guide, I didn't particularly like having two surf around for my favorite channel. I would definitely stay here again. A good pit stop along the way with easy access off of highway 40. Price more than reasonable.

Dog walking area behind hotel is dark and scary. The door to our room did not shut properly and the floor was sticky.

Love how close it is located to the lake. Not enough parking for a boat. Overall it was pretty nice. Wouldn't recommend taking a boat. no place to hook up to charge batteries.

Very polite person and owner at desk. Parking area was clean and lighted. Bed was fine but fell asleep on top of comforter which was gross. Carpet was gross. Bathroom was clean and new. Overall room was clean and quiet. I wish the hotel would ban smoking. Even in the non smoking rooms, you can smell it.

Quick stay
The location is very nice there is a Mexican restaurant next door and the staff is very nice and helpful. The room seemed cleaned upon check in but later found dried blood on our sheets. The staff was very quick to change them but after seeing that we did not feel comfortable in the bed.

Awesome stay, with great views
We decided to pick Lakeview Inn because we needed a quick place to stay to get some rest before heading onto Gatlinburg. It was late when we booked the room, so we wasn’t expecting much on such short notice. But we was very surprised by our room it was very neat and clean. It smelled very fresh and looked very updated. The lady at check in was very friendly. Overall the stay was very pleasant and pleasing and we had a good nights rest. We definitely will stay again and will recommend others to stay.

Talked to them on the morning of out stay, saying we would be having a late check in. With unexpected traffic we were even later and there waa no one there to check us in. I called 3 times, rang the doorbell numerous times. We waited 15 minutes for someone. We ended up at a Days Inn 5 miles away after they answered the phine and had availability.

Our room actually did have a Lakeview. It was very clean, quiet property a well preserved 60’s style motel. The rooms were spacious especially our bathroom. Some updated bed comforters would be nice. Great Mexican restaurant next door!

This property is cozy, clean and perfect for someone passing theough or staying awhile. The owners are on site and VERY nice. They try their hardest to make your stay the best. I wasn't sure at first because of some of the reviews and traveling alone, but once i got there at 1am, i was happy. Even checking in so late the staff was wonderful. Thank you foe a great stay. Bed was very comfortable and surroundings were nice and quiet. Rooms are a bit outdated and much maintenance is required. Eg sink was clogged and bathroom was freezing. Continental breakfast was meager.

Good place to stay
I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were very nice acommadadating. I had my alarm on my phone set to wake me up at 9;30, and it died in the middle of the night. They called the room to see if I was staying again or leaving. I asked them what time it was and she said 11:15. I explained to her what happened and apologized. She was very understanding.

Ideal zum Wandern!
Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, deshalb der Abzug beim Zustand. Sonst war alles top. Natürlich kann bei diesem Preis kein grosses Frühstück erwartet werden. Super ist die Nähe zum See und entsprechenden Wandermöglichkeiten. Die Herbstfarben waren fantastisch!

Good for the price.
It was just an overnighter and it was clean and comfortable. No frills but everything we needed.
