This property was fantastic. Beds are so comfortable, and Brandan was very accommodating. We dined at the Print House that was in walking distance, and was delicious.

You won’t forget this place

Great well appointed property. Front porch is amazing as are the bedrooms with awesome bathrooms. Definitely not your run of the mill chain hotel.

This was the coolest hotel I have ever stayed in. And such an incredibly charming owner, Brendan, who made our stay even better. He took care of EVERY detail of this gorgeous place - from a detailed book of everything to do in the area to an incredible bathroom that included a rain shower that I just didn't want to leave in the morning. I can't say enough great things about this hotel! Truly a masterpiece! We can't wait to come back!

Great time and great owners!

Amazing time! Renovations were well done. Really liked the heated bathroom floors and the huge comfy king size bed. Owners are wonderful and were extremely helpful when I got a flat tire. Would highly recommend staying here if you want to stay in a nice renovated Victorian in a cute quaint town!

If you are looking for an authentic inn, this is the place. Super comfortable, every little detail has been thought about and executed with precision. Very comfortable and clean. We especially loved the front porch to have our morning coffee and evening drink. 10/10 recommend

The house is a very charming and very old Victorian-style house with a turret on top and a matching rounded porch. The proprietor, Brendan, is a very sociable man who, unfortunately, had to be away for a couple of days on family business; he did return the evening before we departed and was apologetic about not being there to greet us.

We stayed at the property several times across skiing weekends. It’s centrally located in the town and parking is easy. The owners were super friendly and easy to communicate; they also recommended many places to explore in the area. At the time when we stayed, our rooms were already renovated and the property would be going through some further renovations, so looking forward to what it’s becoming. Would recommend and definitely stay again!

Amazing stay in a beautifully restored victorian house. The room was spotless and decorated beautifully. But the best part was the owner, Brendan, who bent over backwards to help me with anything. This is a true gem in the Catskills. I can't recommend it enough

Our stay at Shadowcrest was nothing short of fantastic. The owner was extremely helpful and personable. Our room was extremely cozy.
