This is a historic building in the centre of Kinsale. We were very pleased with the extremely large room on the ground floor. Breakfast was also very good. Peter, the host and owner, was very accommodating and helpful. He shared some interesting family history with us including about the establishment. Restaurants, pubs and stores are literally just down the street. Parking can be scarce when the tour buses are in town but you will find something (the lot across the street is free from 6pm until 1030 am). The town settles down in the evening. I highly recommend the Long Quay If you like old style B&B.

Very communicative prior to the stay with all of our questions. There's street and regular parking very close to the property that you pay for and it's free on Sundays. Room we had was very spacious and clean! We went during the heatwave and there was no AC but luckily there was a fan for us to use at night. Water pressure of the shower was also great with shampoo and body wash. Great view of the water and unique tide that comes in everyday. Also in perfect walking distance of all the shops and pubs. Also a good spot to walk to the two different forts in Kinsale.

The location was excellent, right across from the harbour and walking distance to everything . It was super hot When we stayed there, but the fan and lots of windows really helped. Even though we were disappointed to find out that the property had no parking and no lift, Peter was really helpful in pointing out that parking across the street was free from 6 PM till the morning, and he helped us carry all our luggage up the stairs. The complementary Breakfast was fabulous., both the service and the food!

We spent two nights in Kinsale at Long Quay House and we highly recommend the place. The location is awesome, the room was clean with a great shower, and the property is in very good condition. The owner and staff were very helpful. Breakfasts are cooked to order. We had eggs and salmon, eggs with bacon, and porridge with fruit. There is also a self serve area with fresh croissants, scones, bread, yogurt, fruit, and a small selection of cheeses and salamis. Although there is not parking on site, there is parking directly across the street. It is readily accessible and free overnight (6pm-1030am). During the day, the city charges for parking at these same spots with pay kiosks available. But the owner also showed us where there was free parking during the day, located (about 75 yards away).

Great place to stay!

This is a great place to stay. It's very clean, has spacious rooms, very comfortable bed, and very friendly, kind, and helpful staff. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and plentiful. You can tell it's a family owned business as they take great pride in the quality of their business and the services they provide. We'd happily stay there again and recommend it to others!
