"The bathroom looked like it had mold, the cabinet smelled, and the door did not lock properly ( they did not fix it even when I asked). The pool was nice but other than that there is no appeal."

"A bit far from the pyramids but you get what you pay for, rooms were ok, quite a new building so was alright. No hot water in the rooms, so wasn’t good. Non existent breakfast - so went to McDonald’s instead. We had a car so was a good location for pyramids and GEM."

"There is clearly an excellent training regime at this hotel. All the staff, and there are many, from the cleaners, to the front desk were polite, helpful and professional and they did all they could to make you feel at home. Many spoke good English.
Rooms were spacious and comfortable, service throughout was excellent, food varied and very good and the bar well stocked.
This was our first visit to Cairo, which is not an easy place to get about, but with the help of the excellent concierge team and Uber (which is well established here) we were able to see all that we came for. "
"First off - the staff were so amazing, kind and helpful!
The view of the pyramids from their restaurant balcony is epic too, to be able to sit out, have breakfast (breakfast included was decent!) and look out to the Pyramids is wonderful.
The area of Giza itself is definitely an older and run down area, as you pull up it seems like the hotel won't be nice. But once you get inside, it looks good for a hotel in the area.
We stayed as a family of four for two nights, and Giza as a whole is just a crazy and chaotic city, so for that reason I don't think we'd come back to Giza.
If we did, we'd likely stay in a higher end hotel for a little more calm and peace (all higher end hotels were fully booked other than very expensive suites when we booked)

"The quality of the Marriott was above and beyond! The food and drinks were excellent but way overpriced. Go out and visit the local seen. Food and drinks are way less than half of the price. Beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. "
"Breakfast was good. Service was average. Rooms were spacious and clean. Noise from outside dogs barking, cars honking was non stop. The interconnected rooms, though closed off, neighbours were smoking and it kept coming into our rooms. I would not stay here again"
