Elafonissi will forever be one of the most special beaches to my Fiance and me, as this is where we got engaged in July of 2017!! This is where you can find pink sand on the beach and clear waters excellent for snorkeling. TIP: come early or late (1 - 2 hours prior to sunset) as those are the least busy times. This is a very popular tourist destination. There is little shade, so bring an umbrella or a floppy hat. We loved the location. It’s in a quieter part of the Island in Kissamos. The hotel has its on beach and it’s walkable to the town. The hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating. We would stay here again.

Amazing place
Amazing place, we as family loved it! Quiet & lovely hotel. Close enough to few restaurants on the beach with different cuisines! Middle of the village has good restaurants & lovely bakery. Amazing place close enough to go to Ballos. The port is just 5 minutes away.

The Samaria Gorge, on the south side of Crete, is Europe's deepest canyon. The hike from the top of the gorge to the sea is about 18 km, and can be completed in about four hours.
