“I only stayed one night but this place was excellent and I will definitely be back. Super warm and friendly welcome, and excellent communication in advance of arrival. Room was clean, comfortable, quiet, set in a beautiful property. The sherry in the room was a cherry on the top of all this! Thoroughly recommend for anyone looking to stay in the area or passing through.”

“Sehr freundliches Personal und sehr leckeres Essen. Der Blick ist gigantisch. Die Zelt 2 war gut ausgestattet mit einem Kühlschrank Kaffee Tee und Keksen. Einen täglichen Zimmerservice gab es auch wo Handtücher gestellt wurden. Das Badezimmer mit eigenem Whirlpool war großzügig und mit Schaumbad Seifen Shampoo und Conditioner ausgestattet. Der Blick über das Taal mit Springböcken war gigantisch sowohl von der Terrasse als auch aus der Wanne!”

“Eine Unterkunft im Nirgendwo. Der Eigentümer gibt sich viel Mühe dem Gast einen schönen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Das Essen war gut zubereitet, die Tischdeko mit viel Liebe jeden Tag anders gestaltet. Wir kommen wieder”

“Lovely Manor House Hotel property set within its own grounds and beautiful gardens, only a few miles outside of Oudtshoorn. Lovely large bedroom and bathroom. Comfy bed, fluffy towels and toiletries with room service each day. Excellent breakfasts with good choice of healthy options and hot selection cooked fresh to order. The owner and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. ”

“We arrived late in the evening as dinner was being served but after a slight mix up with our room we were given lovely cottage/house that was beautiful. We were only here for one night but it was so lovely. The dinner was simple but really enjoyable and all guests sat around the fire pit afterwards until late into the night telling stories about their travels. The staff here were so friendly and helpful and would recommend this place. ”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at old Mill. We were in one of the tents which have air conditioning, which was nice since it was a little warm and it was on the river driving by the other places I think we made the right choice. Dinner was fantastic My only complaint is they say it’s working ostrich farm so I was really looking forward to seeing and interacting with ostriches. They had four that you could feed mind you. They bite a little lol and 20 or so as you leave. Besides that great place”

“The farm surrounding is picturesque and we loved the cabin. What a nice touch to have a gift for the children too! The hospitality was excellent, I highly recommend this if you are looking for some peace and tranquility.”

“Things have changed since I was last here , rooms are still good, they have upgraded their breakfast and the amount of choice is excellent,quality is good ,the grounds have been meticulously kept neat and tidy ,it’s a perfect place if you have kids to be free and play , such a treat to see the animals and wild animals that are close by,we really enjoyed our stay ,we were not affected by loadshedding-generator onsite ”
