The room and bathroom was dirty. One outlet in the room did not have a cover on it. It was very noisy all night.

Close to the events I was attending and walking distance from various restaurants. The hotel is below average with not so friendly front desk lady. The room had that musty smell, beds were uncomfortable and the sink was backed up.

Property was located close to I 75. Breakfast was good. Just needs some paint and cleaning of baseboards .wouldnt be in a hurry back !

Homeless Hotel
When I was first checking in a few drug addicts/homeless were checking in in front of me. The hostess seemed to be attentive to it and gave them a warning about being on good behavior so it comforted me. I thought a good samaritan bought them a night or something…..well… it appears as though all of the homeless in Knoxville stay at this hotel. They were wandering around cars at night “looking for their car they cant find”. This happened both nights we weee there and different people. It felt pretty sketch. The hotels next door are a LOT nicer and didn’t seem to have the same activity. It was very strange. I never felt unsafe here, but I would be worried to stay here with children. The hotel rooms didn't seem like they were cleaned very well—then I wondered what drugs I was sleeping/showering with from all the sketch people staying here. They did have a nice spread at the hot breakfast each morning. The breakfast area/lobby were very nice and kept clean.

Room was clean. I did not request a handicapped room but was given one so that is an option. Breakfast was 630am-930am. Scrambled eggs,sausage,buscuirs and gravy. Waffles, cereal, yogurt,bagels and toast. Let them know if you require housekeeping during stay.

It's an older establishment but remodeled or kept up well. Pool, fitness room, laundry room, nice bedding and super nice staff! It was only a one night stay but I'll be back!

Excellent location for our needs. We were visiting the Knoxville area for medical reasons and the hotel was only two miles away from the large medical center. Tons of upscale restaurants that are walkable from the hotel. Large Regal movie theater only 3 miles from hotel and lots of shopping. The price was excellent and we were able to bring our pets without an added charge. This was a plus!!! Most of the hotels in the Knoxville area and close by like Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg charge as much as $50 per pet per night. Ridiculous! Red Roof charges $0. Hot breakfast in the morning, clean facilities, and a pleasant lobby area with adjoining breakfast area that overlooks a pretty courtyard area with pool. A great value!!!

After all we are just human?...
The location and price was great. The staff was very courteous. Even breakfast was decent. But the cleanliness is a whole nother issue. There were left over food in the frig and the ice bucket had not been empty after the last occupant. The soap dispenser was empty too. There wasn't any carpet which was a great thing but it also shows where the cleaning if at all is in the middle of the room. After dropping something on the floor, I glanced under the couch, there was a soda bottle and lots of dust bunnies under there. I am positive at some point a smoker had been in the room. I did speak to the gal at the check in desk, she noted it with her response was Well, we are just human....
