During my trip to Thailand, my stay at Sunset Beach hotel was an easy favourite. The room was a great size and the sea view from the balcony was lovely to wake up to as well as for watching the sunset in the evening. The bed was comfortable and I slept well there despite my noisy neighbours.
The breakfast was simple but tasty and included a good variety of fruit and more filling food. I looked forward to eating it every morning during my stay.
The staff were very friendly and there was a good atmosphere within the hotel. They were very accommodating and happy to provide their recommendations e.g for transport and laundry services.
Location wise the hotel is near plenty of restaurants and about a 20minute walk to Haad Rin beach. Just be mindful that outside of the full moon party, Haad rin is a quiet area with not that much going on.
The only minor negative points I would mention is the finishing within the room could be tidier, e.g there were cracks in some of the walls. I sometimes found that the floor couldโve been cleaner as you can feel bits on your feet when walking around. Lastly, for the breakfast, I believe that some parts that were in the silver trays are supposed to be hot and they were always cold so this might be something to look into.
Overall, Iโd recommend Sunset Beach to anyone looking for a comfortable, pleasant stay in Haad Rin!
