"Older facility but very well maintained. Beautiful view from the room. Happy hours is a plus (drinks included, foot bath with a view, snacks). Recommended if you have a car to explore the Izu Peninsula during your stay as there is more limited options nearby the hotel (nearby town has more options for dining). "

The photos here aren't quite reflective of the property's current state. Even in the public onsen, the windows are covered with salt on the outside, obscuring the view. Beautiful place and the food they serve was good, but some updates...

"I wish I could give this hotel 100 stars. The location was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been, the staff service was unbeatable, and the meal they prepared for us was delicious and memorable. The onsen area was clean and beautiful, and I would recommend to anyone to make the trip out to Heda. Truly a unique and special experience and I can’t wait to go back. "
