A huge part of what made our trip so special was the exceptional service from the staff. Specifically, our drivers Suma and Gede went above and beyond. They were professional, always had a great disposition, and are excellent drivers—we felt very safe with them at all times. Gede even helped us organize a day trip to Nusa Penida, and everything was perfectly planned and executed. The hotel itself is stunning: • Rooms: Extremely clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. • Breakfast: Absolutely delicious and very generous in portion sizes. It is definitely worth including in your stay! • Pool & View: The pool area is so relaxing and offers a beautiful, peaceful view. • Spa: We also visited the spa and had a fantastic experience. Every detail of this hotel is designed for comfort and enjoyment. We are so grateful for the hospitality and the amazing memories. Highly recommended!"

"Our stay at Alaya Resort Ubud was perfect. The staff is warm and attentive. The food for breakfast was fresh and there were so many options both from the buffet and from the a la carte menu. Our room was immaculate and the ac kept us nice and cool. The pools were great and we also used the spa which was delightful. If you're looking to stay in Ubud you should definitely stay at Alaya Resort Ubud."

"Great location, very wonderful staff. Property can be better, we stayed in a 1 bedroom pool villa, alot of bugs-as expected, which the resort provided bug spray for the room. but all in all very good experience staying here. They did a special birthday decoration in our room for me as requested by my wife with a small fee. Will stay again!"

"Poor communication from the unfriendly staff. We didn't get informed the stairs walking upstairs and down stairs are full of bird poos in the night and morning, my dad fall of from the stairs in the morning, luckily he didn't get serious injuries. After that my dad helped to clean the stairs with some towels, after all of that the hotel try to charge me the use of the towels today! We also met grumpy staff when we chick in, she wasn't very patient when we had one extra guests than the original booking. Overall beautiful place to stay unfortunately staff need to be better communication and more friendly to guests."

"Fantastic location right in the heart of the monkey forest. You get the benefit of stepping out of the lobby onto the main streets with easy access to all the shops and restaurants whilst stepping into the resort grounds and feeling secluded in the beautiful jungle. The staff were so warm and helpful. And the breakfast was amazing. Particularly loved the egg station. We stayed in a two bedroom villa and it was exceptional. The pool was a great size."
