โI had a great stay. The building has a lot of history and the grounds are amazing. There is a swimming pool which is large enough to do laps. The staff are friendly and my room was exceptionally clean. โ
โGreat setting for talking with other travelers and location for knocking around Nelson. Nice lobbies and kitchen areas Shared bathrooms are on all the floors so that worked out OK So altogether a fun alternative to conventional hotels and beats tenting surrounded by RV's.โ
โI had stayed here 12-13 yrs ago so just had to go backโฆThe owner was super nice and couldnโt do enough for us. Room was recently renovated and so was very nice.
15 min from downtown, close to free ferry to Crawford Bay and about 45 minutes to Ainsworth Hot Springs.Would definitely stay again, hopefully soon. Recommend highly if staying in/near Nelson.โ
โLoved the way the hotel and rooms were renovated. The only thing we didn't like was the veranda was right outside our window, but only the room next door had a door to access it.โ
