“The hotel is bordered by the lake on one side and virgin forest on the other. I took 3 marvelous meals a day and the evening meal had a roaring camp fire. Staff were superb. A boat trip organised by the manager was wonderful, many lake birds, families of monitor lizards and a flock of african grey parrots! Rooms clean, food good, drinks cold, assistance with travel, infact assistance with anything. What more do you want! ”

“Brovad is a must go to if you are taking a trip to Uganda. It's a beautiful get away from the bustle of the city. It's not a beach as it's on a lake, but the surroundings will make you believe you are. The staff are amazing, kind, thoughtful and will do their best to ensure you have the best experience. Always check in with the receptionist about a problem; don't just grumble, they will always have a solution. The weekends are busy, and if you enjoy a lively vibe, the weekend is a good...

“Staff were so friendly and accommodating, we were made to feel like family. They arranged a shoebill tour and a ride over to Entebbe and a taxi waiting for us. The highlight was having drinks by a fire listening to the frogs and watching the fireflies. It’s a pretty special place”
