Not much of a town, from the tourist point of view. Views marred by the acres of plastic sheathed banana greenhouses. Porto de Aldea is small and pretty. Drive up to Arternara was amazing, though a bit hair-raising at moments.






I enjoyed my stay very much. Polite, smiling and motivated staff, everything clean in room and in the common areas. I would rate it as a strong 3.5 with 4 star amenities. Richard Burton bar was a lovely themed area. The setting was spectacular, and wonderful swimming pools and relaxing areas.

A great hotel with lovely facilities. Everything is very clean and well maintained. The staff are superb, the rooms are large with all you need and beds comfy. Will definitely return here again
