The Oak Motel
We did an over nighter at the Oak Motel. The property is very quaint, very dated and very appealing if you like that sort of thing. The charm of an older hotel property can definitely be appreciated here, and we will definitely be back.

River Valley Motor Inn
Our air conditioner never shut off. No matter what the temperature was. There was NO cold water at the sink, only hot. If you wanted cold water, you will have to get it from the tub.

Hotel ZaZa Dallas
Check-in wasn’t great, the guy wasn’t super friendly and definitely not knowledgeable of the area. The rooms and hotel was clean and nice so no issues there. Valet was CRAZY expensive and they charged for internet plus and extra $45-$50 in “service” fees on checkout.

The overall hotel experience was good; however, I do have a couple of complaints. I requested toilet paper and paper towels, but no one ever brought them, and I ultimately had to retrieve them myself.
